I always hated the controls on Tomb Raider.

I like the controls for RE 4 and they are much much better than the other series but I don't think they are quite as amazing as some people think. It is too slow. It feels like it takes forever to push your character to face a villager who is laying on the ground to knife 'em.

I find that most console-to-PC ports just don't feel right to me, to the point where I have given up on these sort of titles altogether. Thief 3 was an excellent example.

I was struggling with Mario DS as well, and then found my strap with the nub. It was much better with the nub and I don't mind it so much now.

It was better, but it was still far worse than the control on the N64 version, which just made it pointless to bother with. I'll just break out the N64 or download it on the Revolution if I want to play it again.

At first I was really impressed with RE4's control, but the more I played, the more it felt like every other RE with aiming added. I've decided that game has no excuse not to have a camera and control as good as Splinter Cell.

I found it easy to play halo using the "Legacy" controlls in Halo.
