Im sorry, but you're calling yourself a videogamer? You're newest system is a SNES, correct? You are 2-3 generations behind. Just get an Xbox. There will not be anymore pricedrops as production has stopped.

xbox 360 is fantastic, but I would wait a year till a constant stream of games come out. get Xbox or ps2 some fantastic games on both.
