360 skins and faceplates

I thought the idea of these was kind of stupid but some of these look pretty cool:

yeah nice site, but i think instead of a skin i'll just get the silver face and paint it with some candy colors. its easier than putting on a skin IMO. i can never get those things on straight. cool site though thanks

Do they sell blank faceplates anywhere? I was thinking of designing my own (for personal use) and then printing it out on an adhesive paper, they placing it on top of a blank faceplate. Some of the skins and faceplates I've seen are just too generic.

I've purchased a few iPod skins from that site. Not the best quality in the world, but good for the money.

That's what I was wondering as I just want a black one. I guess I could buy a cheapie and paint it.

I got a couple of skins today. Matching Xbox 360 and PSP . These vinyl skins are easy to put on and take off. Skin is on three sides of the 360 and front and back of PSP.

I tried one of the black decals and wasn't crazy about it since you will still see the white outlines around spring doors of the game controller and memory card slots. I ended up getting one of the "rare" black Pelican faceplates from Ebay for $25.

Thats why I went with a style that had a lot of white in the design already. You don't notice the edges that much.

You can use the code GIMME10 at decalgirl.com for an extra 10% off.

I think I'll order the black faceplate and the Matrix skin together to help alleviate that exact problem.

Just to let people know...they are starting to offer FREE faceplates with pre-orders at most stores. I know there is a FULL AUTO one, THE OUTFIT and Call of Duty 2 was just at Best Buy. Looks like a growing trend. Ebgames/GameStop have the others.
