I'm glad stores still have them in stock since Sunday's advertisement. All of my local Best Buy's still show both premium and core systems in stock. I've never seen them last that long. Hopefully, these retailers can now consistently stay restocked with them. I'll be very curious to see 360 sales figures next month, assuming the stores get restocked well this month.

Eh.. just buy her some flowers or tell her she can go on a $300 shopping trip. That way, you keep the 360 and she gets something too. Win/win.

My wife figures that if i'm in the living room playing online at least i'm not out getting drunk, running around with other women, or really spending any more money. Most likely the investment in a game system saves her piece of mind of knowing where i am, what i'm doing, and if any other woman say me sitting in my pjs with a damn headset on talking to people while playing a role playing game - well she is sure i won't be having any affairs any time soon.

She'll get used to it, it's when you start wearing it to bed that will be the problem

Never end a lovemaking session by saying "You got pwned!".

Well, I am not a newlywed (10 year anniversary this year), but I saw it at Costco and figured better try and talk her into me KEEPING it, instead of me talking her into letting me GO BACK AND GET IT.

No biggie...My single friend picked one up too, and he's keeping his.

You know, Chris, you can get two dozen roses at the costco for, what, $14 at the Costco, to grease the skids?

It's a really good deal.

The best was the look my wife gave me when I had my plug and play charger hooked up to the controller and the headset hooked up, she asked if I had found a way to plug myself directly into the 360.

I'd be better off showing her this thread.

Again, not a big deal, since I don't play my Xbox that much in the first place, and I really want a new DSLR this year (going to Europe and want that before we go)

I didnt play mine all that often, but once I got Oblivion, I play alot.....I have to get up in the mornings really early and play before my girlfriend gets up (we only have one tv at the moment) or at night when she is studying for school.

When I have my headset on, my wife refers to me as "Linda, the Time-Life operator".

Anyone old enough to remember those commercials?

I saw a palette of premium bundles today in Sam's .... $449 for xbox, play and charge, and extra controller. I saw a stack of cores in the local Target. This is actually the first time I've seen either.

My best buy had 16 premiums in and 8 cores last night. I asked the guy that worked in the video game section if they were moving fast and he said no, and that everybody thought they were going to fly ooff the shelves.

I'm contemplating getting a Premie today, but part of me wants to wait until Christmas to see if their will be a bigger Hard Drive, cheaper price, plus it will give time for Oblivion to go down// (crossing fingers)

I was checking out Best Buy Tuesday and everyone who came in for a 360 Premium got a 360 premium. I saw about 5 or 6 people getting them and I don't think they ran out.

That's why I almost never use the headset.

All the stores around me ran out of 360's ASAP. I've yet to see one in a store. But since I already own one, I guess I'm not really looking to. But I've had a better chance to see Bigfoot than an in-store 360.

Then you have things like the Wal-Marts in my area. One of them keeps any 360 systems in the Ipod case and the other keeps them under all the PS2 games on the other side of the display from the 360 stuff.

I got one today at Sears of all places. I went in to make a payment and I ended up with 360 premium.

Now I don't know what to do with it. I mean I'm still hooked on Star Wars:Battlefront II on XBOX and I don't think I wanna give up LIVE yet.

Give up Live? Your account transfers over to the 360 and i thought they recently added Battlefront II to the backwards compatibility list. Might want to check that though...

I saw about 50 total 360's at Fry's Electronics on Friday (Tempe AZ) (yes, I know this is 3 days late) about 15 of them were platinum and 30 or 35 core.

Yeah, I'm trying to find and reread threads about 360's so forgive me if I'm a bit slow.

Heh, well there is a backwards compatibility thread that would have that info.
