OblIVion, most definitely... though I didn't get it yet. I picked up Amped3 2 weeks ago and am having such a blast with it that I'm hesitant to pick up OblIVion just yet, knowing how emersive the game is. But between the discussions here and the homemade videos on the 'net, it's only a matter of days before I crack down and buy it (and the 300+ page guide ;) )

Considering that a bunch of XBox 360 options were available yesterday at BestBuy.com (but everything's sold out today), it must be broken.

Not necessarily - the Premiums were clearly marked as not being available in-store, which is what that tracker is tracking.

I don't know about that. About 3 weeks ago, I checked in the tracker and it stated that one of the stores had the system. When I called them, they said they only had the cores. On Wednesday, a couple of stores had the Core but on the tracker, it indicated no stores had 360's. So I'm assuming the tracker doesn't work anymore.

I was in my local Costco today and there were ton of bundles sitting around, nobody crowding or anything. At least 20 or 30 of them. It's almost like nobody was interested at all.

I was just in the Lansing, MI Target on Saginaw, and they had 6 premiums. 4 were out and the lady said there was 2 more in the back.

Costco Austin did not have any in stock today. Frys was also out.

It figures by the time they're readily available, I have no interest in one :lol:

Maybe if they drop to $300 for the Premium.... :D

Lets see if this adds up.....

Shortage of systems + several new upcoming high priced games = lackluster sales. I guess they figure if you've got 4-$500 to spend then $60 is pocket change. You'll just be snapping up a game a week. My current paid for Xbox and countless available bargain games just might tie me over even longer.

By the way in todays paper Kmart had 360 "core" units listed but no premos. C.C hardly even mentions anything XBox, B.B had a few games and nothing with Target.

Check the postings on when bought. Also it's funny that last week they were advertising "3rd" generation and this week it's 4th. If MS really wants to help they need to step up and do more on getting the message out to consumers about stepping up production and more 360's are on the way. There just hasn't been much press about it or push on the retail end. If more people were aware then they would stop going to places like E-bay where most of the 360's end up instead of gamers hands.

Still one premium left in the Target display this afternoon. So a 360 has now officially been on the shelf for 24 hours :lol:

There were a lot of 360's yesterday in Costco, here in San Jose, CA. And they were selling them like pancakes, when I was in the store I saw a lot of people with 360 boxes in their carts.

Costco is just like Sam's Club isn't it? I went to Sam's today and they didn't have anything but games..

Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I see lots of bundles with the memory card and the hard drive. if you get the hard drive you don't need the memory card do you?

only if you plan on playing using your save-game info on another 360 machine, like say going over to your friend's house to play on his 360, using the profile you already have on Halo 3, or whatever.

I picked one up last Thursday for my son's birthday in April. I was at Walmart on Tuesday and they didn't have any in the display case. We were there again on Thursday, still none in the case. As we were leaving, one of the 3 electronics department people said "Can I help you find anything?". I said Nah, I was just looking for a 360. He said "We got 12 in yesterday, and we have (He leaned behind the counter to look)...one left, but it's the good one, you know, for $400." I gave up asking if people had them until that day because the answer was always NO, man am I glad he asked if I needed any help. I guess they don't always put them in the display cases (In plain view).

No mine is going to come in this week. I was just at Costco and Fry's this weekend.

The bestbuy in store locator does not seem to be working. It shows a bold on 3 locations within my area (zip 10027) but when I called, none of them had anything. 2 of the reps even told me when they were expecting to get a shipment in (weekend). Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Almost all the areas around me were bold.....very odd.....I doubt they have them in UNLESS they got a few and the employees are holding them for themselves.

The Best Buys in NH also show bold but when I called them they both said that the tracker was wrong and that they haven't received any for a while.

I was at Costco at Randhurst mall (Mount Prospect, IL) yesterday and they had about 20 of the premium bundles (PGR3, extra wireless, plug and play) for $489.

A few weeks ago someone stated at CAG that Best Buy was planning on holding units for a big 4/2 release day. This would certainly lend credence to that (4 of the 5 closest to me are in bold via the store locator).

The Best Buy in Nashua NH had 4 cores in last night but no premiums. Wouldn't they hold them all if a big 4/2 roll out were true?

Just a couple days early. Looks like a pallette full sitting at the N. Austin <s>Frys</s> crap, I mean Costco (too many errands at lunch), with nary a soul paying much attention to it... Obviously, the prem, with the extra wireless and pgr 3 for $489. Looks to me like only a couple had been sold.

Also, near the cold food section, the sample of the spinach dip kicks ass!!!! I wouldn't bother with the granola bar sample near the entrance to the registers.

I've seen this mentioned on two other forums. Whether it's true or not remains to be seen but in any case hopefully it's steer peopleaway from E-Bay and back to the stores for a "normal" price unit. Speaking of E-Bay I just took a glance and it does appear a slow down on the outrageous prices is happening. Allot of the listings are going close to original price with the exception of those adding games and such. Of course you're still going to see idiots like this out there.

I don't have a 360. Today is the first time I've seen a Prem for sale, well, except for the one I received right after Christmas from Kmart that BigDave plays when he's not using his didgeridoo.

Methinks Kingdom Hearts 2 will keep me busy for a while. ;)

But I may have to drop by to see if yours is working fine. :lol:

I've had both the Premium and Core systems at the Target I work at for the last few days. It really doesn't seem like anyone even cares anymore.
