In terms of gameplay it does look like the original. The feel of the game and controls have been vastly improved making it a far better game.

Yeah, it is amazing how much better GW2 is. I can't bear to play GW1 for more than a couple minutes, but the sequel keeps me busy for quite a while.

I just wish I could break 350k, that video makes it look so damn easy! It did give me a few ideas that I need to try.

Wasn't Geometry Wars on PGR2?

Yes, the original was on PGR2. I know that at least a demo of GW2 is on PGR3, but I'm not sure if it's the full game.

The full version of GW1 is on PGR3 and a demo of GW2 is there. They are both in any garage, you can walk around to a couple arcade cabinets.

I think GW1 is also on the original Xbox Live Arcade.. but yeah, most of us know it from PGR2.

Yeah, there is a timer at the top of the screen, you only have 4 minutes.

Someone wrote a PC clone of Geometry Wars out. I've only played Geometry Wars for a couple of minutes, but it seems to be pretty close.

So after making a new video about Geometry Wars Galaxies for the Wii, I've inadvertently started a thing by jokingly taunting a couple of friends into trying to beat my Geometry Wars 2 scores. And since my 360 friends list is populated with you fine people, I thought that if you still own the means to play Geometry Wars 2 for Xbox (it's backwards compatible) you could maybe jump in this weekend and shoot for some high scores.
