My best buy already has 20 + people in line

My Best Buy had 10-20 people

same here, 20 or so people in line at one of my two local Best Buys. Temperature should be in the high teens tonight, those people are insane.

Doesnt Best Buy have a 10% off accessories coupon online somewhere? I cant find it.

I got the email as well. I'm not in a hurry to get the thing so I'll let the order go until the 25th.

BTW, there are 20 or so people in front of my best buy, camped out in the cold.

Check out this thread, its over at CAG. Its not 10% off, but 10 dollars off game accessories over $29.99. I used a copy this past Tuesday with no problem.

I wast just at the Lansing, Saginaw BB and as of 7 there were about 30 people in line for I believe 26 units!!

I was also at Target, and they stated they are receiving 1 unit per week, and the have a long waiting list. Of course, I am thinking that is 1 unit making it past the employees each week. Maybe after all the clerks and "managers" get their fill, then stock will pick up.

So it is back to waiting for EB Games to fulfill their pre-order list so I can get one, possibly before Christmas. I certainly wish there was a CostCo nearby! If I don't get one before Christmas, I will probably just wait for a PS3, although I really like the idea of turning on the machine using the controller.

Got mine from circuit city a few hours ago. I wasnt expecting it until Tuesday at the earliest, but it came today. Thank god for CC, because there are already 20+ people lined outside Best Buy and I wouldn't have had a chance to get one.

That's insane. It's AT LEAST twenty five degrees colder right now in Michigan that it was the original release night, and believe me, that night was cold!

It currently says it is 18 outside, and they only have another 10 hours to go. -eek- AND all of those people won't be able to even get a box!!

When we got there we counted 20 people in line. They were supposed to have 24, so we thought we were safe. 5 hours sitting it the cold later, they came out and did a head count. My brother, my friend, and I were 25, 26 and 27. Unhappy, we drove to the next closest Best Buy, perhaps the one we should have gone to in the first place. They're supposed to have 36. There was an unofficial head count was 35, and apparently the manager claimed they had only 32.

I drove by the BB in Totowa, NJ and the line went around the side of the bldg.. people with chairs and blankets. I got mine already but I had to see how many were there.

I just checked my local Best Buy in Arlington Heights, IL and it looked like there were 40 people sitting outside. I guess I wont be getting one tomorrow.

Im headed to BB in Dearborn, MI in about 15 minutes. I really hope this thing is not out of hand already. This is my last time pre planning to hit a store up like this if I cant get one (unfortunately Ive said this before :()

Good luck, man, you'll need it. I was freezing my ass off. We definitely didn't bring enough blankets and even with 5 layers on we were freezing. The people with tents and sleeping bags had the right idea.

any in the NW suburbs of Chicago going to go out? I'm hoping to find someone to help keep me awake to get one in the morning. There are a couple of stores that are supposed to get 80 or more.

Wooster Ohio is about 1.5 hours from Columbus. I just spoke with my brother who said he didn't see anyone in line at the Best Buy there to get one. I think they are getting 24. The zipcode 44691.

Dude, are you sure? I think I'd want to shoot myself if I drove all that way for nothing. Maybe if they we supposed to get more than 24...

Looks like it'll get down to 25-30 tonight, and it might rain :lol:

I hope the people at Best Buy enjoy themselves. I'm only 6-7 miles away, and I wouldn't wait all night in the cold if someone paid me $50 and guaranteed me a 360.
