Atari VGS (well before it was called the 2600)
Amazing how much fun and replay value could be found in such low-res graphics. :)

Sega Genesis/32x/CD combo
I bought these when they were on clearance. Lots of fun games, and I'm probably the only one on the planet that actually enjoyed the 32XCD games like NIGHT TRAP, SLAM CITY, SUPREME WARRIOR, FARENHEIT, and CORPSE KILLER. 32X games like STAR WARS, VIRTUA FIGHTER, and VIRTUA RACING.

Nintendo 64.
My favorites games were those that allowed the player to explore a virtual world like PILOT WING 64 and WAVE RACE.

XBOX 360
I'm loving PGR3 and the ability to play music and display photos wireless from my notebook PC. Look forward to more 360 titles that can really push the limits of the platform.

Favorite in terms of hardware would be different from favorite in terms of games, so I'll assume that it is in terms of games. I'll lump GB/GBC/GBA together, I suppose, since GBA plays all three.

1) SNES
2) N64
3) NES
4) PC
5) GBA
6) Gamecube
7) Atari 2600
8) XBox

2) PS2
3) C64
4) Genesis
5) Xbox
6) N64
7) PS1
8) DC

Very hard to put these in any real order.. I've had a lot of fun with all of these and great memories associated with each.

6. PC

9. SNES
10. Gamecube

I think I was maybe just more of a games player when i owned my PS1 (younger, more free time etc). I lost countless hours/days on games like Wipeout and Metal Gear Solid. I was one of those that bought a PS2 initially because it was a DVD player (Granted it wasnt a great player but it did me well for a few years).

Im still looking forward to the PS3 though. Until then ill stick with my PC (and Age of Empires 3)

1. PS1
2. Saturn
3. DC
4. Turbo Grafx-16, Turbo CD, Turbo Duo
5. PS2
6. XBox
7. GBA
8. N64
9. GC
10. Genesis
11. SNES
12. NES
13. 3DO

I never really had any of the early Nintendo or Sega systems when I was younger so I missed out on some great gaming growing up. My dad surprised us with the Turbo when I was about 7 so that is what I primarly did my early gaming on.

1. Playstation - quantum leap forward from SNES, longest time on top of any console
2. NES - 2nd longest time on top, got me into gaming
3. PSP - all my life I wanted a portable emulator/movie viewer, IMO between the emulators and PSP games the top 50 portable games are all on PSP
4. SNES - Top heavy library, great side scrollers kept the dying genre alive, short time on top but when it was on oh was it on
5. Genesis - THE sports console, 1st party support kept it going pre-EA
6. PS2 - another quantum leap forward, another incredible lifespan in this day and age
7. Gameboy - I dropped more tetrises than deuces on the toilet
8. XBox - if FPS are your thing... Never was really on top but nothing else feels right at 8 so I'll stop my list

Not to threadcrap but I want to feel better about owning a DS. Why is it good? Deciding to bring my PSP or DS to work for lunch is like deciding between a supermodel and an inbred woman with two heads for me. I just picked up Mario Kart DS and Advance Wars DS from KB and I just would rather play PSP games.

1) PC (number 1 by a wide margin..including Apple ][ and C-64 here)
2) Atari 2600
3) Sega Genesis
4) NES
5) Playstation
6) X-Box
7) 3D0

1. PC
2. Atari 2600
3. Pong

I probably phased out my 2600 playing some time in the late 80s, and I didn't get my first PC until 1991, but I guess my interests were elsewhere in between, which is why I never owned another console. I've been strictly a PC gamer since '91.

1. Genesis. I loved the Joe Montana games, and the shooters, and the random Sega games...and Sonic. Plus a headphone jack so my bleep bloops didn't piss of mom dukes.

2. Dreamcast. The coolest console ever with an incredible library of great and unique games.

3. SNES. Much better controller than the Genesis and of course those nintendo titles.

4. N64. Just for the Wrestling Games and Beetle Adventur Racing alone, this was worth it. The library wasn't that deep, but I think over all I had more fun with this than my PS1.
