It can't be any worse than Mighty Monkey, I'm Sorry or some of the other games I've picked as punishment for not being able to beat my puny scores.

Technically an hour past the deadline, but only one new game has been picked, so this can get us through the rest of the holiday weekend.

Skull & Crossbones looks like fun.

So you gotta change the rules to win. I see.

Yeah, well Ustimias shouldn't play games so early in the morning. I was trying to figure out what I should do since nobody picked anything. The simplest solution was just to beat your score.

All that time wasted.

Where do I get the overlays? I was able to get about 300 points in world 3. It completely sucks.

Well I already reported your post to a mod, so expect your banning soon.

I've decided I now like Snapjack and being kicked very hard in the testicles. Both those things are now fun due to my amazingly strong willpower.

For my 2nd pick I choose Spyhunter. I would also like to make this my first pick in case I somehow do not win two games.

OK, I give up then. I love Spyhunter even though the controls are nearly impossible. I'm pretty sure I had figured out a way to do it a few years back. At least I got a lot farther than I ever did as a kid on the arcade machine. We'll have to share tips.

Hmmm. I didn't realize the controls sucked. Hopefully it's just you that sucks. It's been a long while since I've played but I downloaded the artwork and realized we hadn't played it yet.

Actually it was more than a few years ago, now that I think about it. I had to figure out the controls back when Retrocade was out. That was a great emulator in its day. It had a great front end and it was the first one to use overlays. I think they gave that and a lot of other code over to the MAME project.

Spy Hunter was unplayable in MAME back then. It also supported the Logitech Wingman Warrior joystick because it was the only joystick available with a spinner, and it was perfect for Tron and Discs of Tron. I bought that joystick because of Retrocade.

That looks pretty sweet. I'm guessing the Spy Hunter emulation is fine in MAME.

Oh I know it is by now, but the controls are still complicated. Retrocade was well over 5 years ago. That link talks about needing a Pentium 233 to run things at full speed on MAME.

For all it's worth, I don't I think I've won a game for a while now. But that is about to change now...

If you're insinuating that you have a crazy score waiting in the wings, let's have it now rather than toying with me.

To be honest, I figured no one else was even trying if my score was still standing...

I know this isn't a high score, but I had to share.

If you look closely you'll notice that I have three red balls up at the top line. The two left most balls were already there. I wasn't sure if it would end my game if I dropped a ball on top of them so I realized I needed to place it right next to them. And then I screwed up my drop and lost the level. Hooray for me.
