Can anybody recommend some decent deathmatch mods for Quake III? I'm looking mainly for maps and/or mods that'll be good for four-six player games. So far the one I found that I thought was the most interesting was called "Rune Quake" where you pick up little runes that give you extra attack or defense or other neat tricks (like setting land mines).

Also, are there any good model sites besides Poly Count?

My last question is, is there a way to get the other computers to auto-download the models I'm using? I could NOT figure out how to get this to work. I enabled server-side and client-side auto-downloading but it seems to only work for maps. I setup a network folder with all the models I've downloaded and I'll probably just have everyone pull them from there before we start but Quake II had a nice option that would pull them in-game.

I've always loved RocketArena. Great team based deathmatch mode. The other one I'm really enjoying is called Instagib, one kill shots, usually used with the railgun. You can enable an offhand grapple hook too, very fun. I haven't really played any other mods so that's all I can say. Interesting you bring this up, since I'm installing q3 at work to play with others here.
