Call of Duty 2 PC & XBox 360
has anyone else gotten the demo for the PC? its around 700 meg but if you've got broadband and a computer that can play it i would get it as fast as you can. this is going to be one of the launch titles for the 360 also and i can see this thing fighting with PDZero for #1 launch game. the pc demo is so freaking cool. i'll have the game when it ships the 25th of this month if anyone else is going to grab it hit me up on xfire for some same server play.

It's an awesome demo. The enemy AI is much improved and the addition of the smoke grenade is an excellent feature. I just wish my 9800 pro was able to do more with it. I'd have to shell out big bucks to get the game looking as good as the Xbox 360 version.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to get the demo.
I wish that the Xbox360 had more actual exclusives, rather than all these games that are also coming out on PC.

I played through the demo and thought it was just alright. It just seems like a slight improvement over the original. I probably won't be picking it up as I'm kinda burned out on WWII FPSs.
I've been busy trying to play through KOTOR 2 and TRON 2.0 as well as Pirates. I still play Battlefield 2 and Guild Wars sporadically, and I'm also trying to get through Burnout: Revenge on my PS2. On top of all of that I have Half-Life 2 sitting on my shelf waiting for me to play, but I'm going to wait until I finish one of the games I'm currently playing.

one thing that i've found is i gave it to a friend who has a normal graphics card ATI 9600xt and the game didn't have the effect on his machine that it did on mine. so i'm beting that the 360 version looks as good or better than my pc (running x800xt) since it is using the next gen of the x800 cores. at any rate i'm going to have this game for my pc as soon as i can get my hands on it, since i won't be able to get a 360 at launch.

all the cores are based on past hardware thats the way the industry works except for sony they try to make new things and they usually come out with a stable product but then it flops in the U.S.
anyway the R423, R430, and R480 are this gens "high end" after the 360 ships the R520 core or something similar should make it to market for the pc. i would say after the R520 varient ships for PC that a new gamer pc i.e. x2 CPU large ram, 10,000RPM drives etc. would be more powerful than the 360, but i know how the power pc core works, so i'm thinking at launch time the 360 will have a full year of being more of a power house graphic wise than a gamer pc.
then again i could care less because i'm not going to get one at launch, and i've already got an overpowered console via my pc, being able to open microsoft word documents is just a side effect.

at any even the games for either are going to look freaking awesome

*UPDATE*
okay so i wake up check my email and wow one from ATI the X1800 1600 and 1300
