Got my demo today . No slime keychain yet though.

I won't be too upset if I don't get a Slime keychain.. I already have like 50 damn various Slime toys lying around.

Still waiting on my demo, but I did get a confirmation e-mail so it should be here any week now.

So has anyone played through the demo yet? Mine just came in yesterday. I plan on checking it out when I get home from work.

Yeah, it's great. Make sure you set aside 3-4 hours to finish it as there's no save feature. Of course, pausing and leaving the ps2 on is also an option.

My wife and I got our slime keychains yesterday. They come in little treasure chests like boxes and you don't know which one you got without opening it. Really cool Japanese collectibles.

She got the king one and I got two of the smaller slimes in my box.

I'm a subscriber to Shonen Jump and just received my November 2005 issue. As you can imagine, I've not yet read it because the first thing I did was try out the demo of Dragon Quest VIII. Sadly, the demo doesn't work. My Playstation 2 just keeps trying in vain to read the disc and all I get is a black screen after the white Playstation 2 logo that preceds all disc loads. All other games and demos I've used on my PS2 work fine but this one does not.

Damn. I wonder if I got one, it'll be at my old address. Well I still have crap to pick up there so I guess another trip this week won't kill me.

The keychains came a week or two after I got the bonus disc. You should get them soon.

Yes, I signed up and so did she because she wanted a slime keychain as well. They sent the demos and keychains to the same address.

Hey I got three different slime keychains today in the mail. The two on the left as seen in the picture and another with tenticles on it.
I got my demo disc a few weeks ago. Very cool. Thanks OP
