Arcade Game Challenge #48: "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."

In these threads we play arcade games that are emulated on PCs, and compete for the highest score.
You have to take care of finding the games yourself.
Click here for the list of all the past winners and high scores.

The Rules:
  1. To enter, you just play one of the games and post a screenshot with your score.
  2. Once all the games have a score, the deadline to post any new scores will be 72 hours after the last screenshot is posted.
  3. The winner can pick any game that we haven't already played for the next thread. Don't forget to pick a new game, or I'll do it for you!
  4. Any games should be played with one credit and no continues or any features not on the actual machine.
  5. If you play and beat any of the high scores from the previous games we've played, you can submit them for the All Time Top Scores.

The Games:
(click the games for info and how to play)

Cabal - Score to beat: Ustimias 1195130

The Prize:
Whoever gets the high score for one of the current games picks the next game that replaces it. You also get your name engraved permanently etched onto this eye catching trophy with a genuine Sharpie!

Defending Champs:

Thanks for the vacation, devilshalo

Hi. I'll probably be playing a lot more now, I picked up a slikstik 2 weeks ago.

For some reason I cant seem to link the bigger pic.

For my 2 games, let's do bullfight for cabal.

Welcome, Kaze0! Zee more, zee merrier...!

My votes go for CABAL-->I, ROBOT (A game I am determined to get in the queue because of its seminal fame)
&
MANIAC SQUARE-->MAZINGER Z ('cause 4 out of 5 cheerleaders think giant Japanese robots are cool).

I finally managed to crawl past Devil's score...albeit just barely. (Something I actually did a couple of days ago, but I kept checking Roto's slightly dyslexic "54,200" heading instead of the true "52,400" score. )

BTW, how the heck do you execute the special moves in this game? I scarcely remember being able to do them in the NES version, but I haven't played it in over 15 years.

I should make you run the thread some day and see how well you remember the score when you go to edit the post

Can't come close to that Cabal score, or even my score for that matter. I don't know how I did it, all of a suddent I was at 300k on like the second part of the first level.

But here's the maniac square.

I want Bull Fight if I win.

I don't remember, I know you can do the super throw, Ijust don't know how. Plus it seems the more you do a power move, the more your opponent does theirs.

I haven't even tried any of the games. I don't have mame on my computer right now. I'm pretty sure I've played it before though. You aren't exactly a good indicator of what games are playable.

Yeah, I know. I tried 3 different versions and all have something missing. Oh well. Stupid puzzle games.

It works for me. Do you have neogeo.zip in your rom directory?

Yep. I have the infamous NeoGeo zip firmly in place. All of the other games work. Perhaps they recently modified it...?

If the Cabal score wins, I'd like to request Logic Pro.

If TSS wins, I'd like to request Mercs.
