I guess the way it works is you only get one chance per code per ten minute block.

i.e. there are 600 codes for 7:10pm and then a different 600 at 7:20, So if you lose the one ten minute spot you don't get another chance.

There seem to be a lot of people trying for this. I didn't think there would be that many.

I entered twice but I doubt anything will happen. And I'm getting a little tired of these xbox mountain dew codes. I try to enjoy my soda but everytime they do one of these promotions it's like they come up with a way to say guess what? you didnt win. This one time I lost, but instead of the cap saying 'sorry try again', it said 'fuck you'.

Yeah, I've been playing. I get free sodas at my hospital, so I'm grabbing Diet Dew by the handful. I've entered several times, but haven't won yet. I'll try again in a few hrs.

I have come up empty so far. I think i am going to just let all my points add up then put them all on one drawing.

Check CheapAssGamer.com....there are probably 5 people that won there. Of course, people abused the system at the beginning. Also, there is a person that was creating random code generator.....Not on CAG, but somewhere. I bet this will cause a lot of hassles for this contest

That's actually a pretty smart idea, since when you enter one it says how many people have entered. If you have enough of your own in there it might discourgae extra people from signing into that time spot.

I think there are a few people from fatwallet who have won too, but I don't "do the dew" so I am out of the running.

Basically you recieve a code for a certain ten minute time slot and what you do is enter it then? Or do you just compete within a ten minute time frame with whoever is entering the code.

this was exploited like crazy from the posters over at CAG. I swear I read that a few people actually won more than 1 over there too.

Yeah this contest was hacked by a code generator. Apparently people started finding that legitimate codes from store bought bottles were invalid because someone had already claimed them using the code generator. I think they may have fixed that problem though it seems. I drink soda at work (yeah I know its bad for me but i need something to keep me awake in the afternoon) and have collected quite a few (no duds so far). haven't decided when to try my luck, but I hope I win

Strangest statistical glitch I've ever seen : Almost every 10 minute contest seems to run 1500 - 1700 points. Yet the contest after next (5:50 PM) has over 6500 points in it, over 5000 more than either the contest before or after. How is this possible? Seems really fishy to me....

Sorry to get OT, but which hospital in Vegas do you work at? Im looking at picking up a few shifts a month in Vegas to keep my skills up and free diet dew is intriguing.

I bought a case of the Pitch Black II mountain dew, partially for the contest, but I can't find anything on the box that mentions the contest.

I think it's just Mountain Dew & Diet Mountain Dew (along with Pepsi & Diet Pepsi). I've never seen the contest codes on the Pitch Black.

Talked to one of the regulars at the local Gamestop, and he claimed to have won one. Of course he could be blowing smoke.

He claims that he won the more expensive version, and that he already has it. The part about him already having it is what makes me not believe him. Why would it be sent out before the release date, even if there are no games to play on it yet?

I entered about 80 caps Monday at 6:10 am. I checked the winners board and says someone from Grand Rapids MI won. I hope its me , sucks you gotta wait 72 hours after. I know its probably not me but whats the chance, the exact time i enter all my caps and Grand Rapids pops up.
