Hmm...I'd be interested in knowing about this one too. The only one I use right now is the CTMod. Pretty handy stuff on it.

All I remember is I got it from World of War.net or Curse Gaming. I wish I could remember the name, it was a very handy mod.

Found it, I think. It's at http://ui.worldofwar.net/ and it's called TrainerSkills. Found it in the "other" mods section. Haven't played around with it too much yet, but it sounds cool.

I don't know about everyone else's server, but Lightbringer finally got the gates of Ahn'Qiraj open last night. Of course I couldn't log on for about two hours to see the gong being rung, but that wasn't a surprise. Though we were miffed about the relatively small number of bugs and elites storming the area. I'm guessing Blizzard toned it down to help with the lag and server crashes. Our guild wasn't able to farm much Brood of Nozdormu rep during the whole 10-hour event.

On a side note, I find it funny how the CM's on the European forum provide more info than the CM's here in the states. Here's an example:

http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thre...p=1#post834327

Great info such as the ETA on patch 1.10 (early March) and also a number of insights of what's coming down the line.

What do we get from the CM's here when this link was pointed out to them? Silence and more silence. Not even an acknowledgement on the current ETA of 1.10.

Funny.

That doesn't deal directly with the CM's providing information, since it was written by Shane Dabiri, lead producer of WoW and posted by one of the CM's. It's been done for the US forums as well, such as Battleplan updates. Other then the broad estimate of the 1.10 release date, most of that information had already been mentioned by CM's over the course of the last few weeks in other posts, like Naxxramas, Casual Content, talent changes, etc.

I don't blame CM's for the perceived lack of info, since they're just the messengers. They tell us what they are told.

Sure there were posts about Naxxramas coming down the road, but nothing about it being released in Patch 1.11. And if you're not checking the forums everyday, you can easily miss those blue posts anyway. Good luck finding it with the crappy search function. And any info that we do get, we had to ask for it first. That post by Shane Dabiri was put up and stickied for all to see. I don't know why that post wasn't stickied on our forums as well since alot of people would've appreciated the info and helped alleviate unnecessary suspicion and resentment toward Blizzard. Finding out first on the European forum isn't cool. Certainly happened in the past. *cough* BG previews *cough*. And will likely happen again.

I'm way bitter, can you tell? I have a lvl 60 priest so I'm dying to try out the talent review in 1.10.

I'm pretty sure Naxxramas was mentioned as coming in 1.11, especially admist all the casual/hardcore/raid discussions that have occured during the last month. I'm pretty sure it was actually mentioned way back around BlizzCon too.

But still, all the other bullet points listed in the post are pretty much just generic features that were always expected or have been discussed, even if you don't read the forums often. Talent changes, character transfers, casual content, world events. Nothing really new or earth shattering.

Talent changes are supposed to be revealed at some point later this week. All they've given so far are some vague details about racials and certain spells. Check the stickied posts at the top of the WoW Priest forum. The most potentially useful change is making gheal 3 seconds with the potential of 2.5 after talents...

Interesting little article about the Murlocs on the main WoW website page today. Think it's pointing to some sort of new Murloc instance?

Eyonix talks about new talent changes

Personally I think they've done an amazing job of redoing the trees. There are tons of choices for talents to take. I can't wait to try them out...

I agree, us priests got a good deal of lovin'. Great lookin' changes, on paper. We'll see how well the revamped trees will truely work when the test realm goes up.

My jaw dropped after the first read-through of Eyonix's post, especially with the new Lightwell talent. But after some thinkin', that new talent seems highly situational. Sounds nothing more than a glorified bandage. Being attacked cancels the heal? And only 5 charges with a 10 minute cooldown? I'd imagine this spell would be used during raid bosses but the well only lasts for 2 minutes. And we all know the typical boss fight will last longer than that.

Anyway, the good far outweigh the bad in our talent review. So I'm giddy.

Even if all the new talents suck, I still think this is a huge improvement. We are getting 5 points worth of talents for 3 in many cases, and the fact that many of the good high tiered talents have dropped by 2-3 tiers means you can get a lot of good talents without having to go too deep into that tree.

Does anyone know how long inactive accounts are kept on the servers? I torn my one of my tendons in my right arm and will have to have surgery on it. I canceled my account tonight because there is no way I can play with a cast. I plan to return again when my arm heals. Man, I was just getting into it (26 warrior & 19 druid).

Last I heard, they keep inactive accounts indefinitely.
