Same here. Burnout is the only one that looks interesting. I haven't finished 3 yet and I bought it on release day! I'll be waiting for the $20 range.

Mine too since I just finished Paper Mario, nothing on the GC for a while either. Mario Baseball looks decent, but not for full price.

I usually jump at games like NBA Live/2K6, but as also intend to grab 360, I expect to hold of fon getting games that come out on 360 us well. Game diet for September/October! Glad I've got the Blockbuster game rentals free w/ my monthly dose of movies!

I think Burnout will be a must buy. Id be interested in Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships. I love Sega's Derby Owners Club arcade game, and if this is similar, I may pick it up, especialy if it has live.

The Burnout demo is the best thing about Madden 06, but I might wait for the 360 version... especially since they're saying you can't transfer saves from the Xbox to the 360.

Damn, I had no idea Ultimate Spider-Man was coming out so soon. Marvel would be killing my wallet now if I didn't have any patience.

some great games but i have a hard time spending 50 bucks for a game when you know in a couple months it will be 19.99 or in a couple weeks be 29.99. the only games i buy right away are big games i must have or ones that have online play. since after away sometimes not as many people might be playing that game online.

Why the capital NO for X-Men Legends II? I thought the first was a great game...

I don't know - I liked one of the xmen games for the Sega Genesis and I liked this xmen game mod (total conversion) for Quake on the PC years ago... I guess the movie franchise has generated this xmen hatred in me.

If you like the X-Men in general (not specifically the movies) then Legends is a great game. Aside from being able to use the movie costumes, it's basically the comics brought to life with a crapload of playable characters.

I'm looking forward to Far Cry. It was a game I missed on the PC and was impressed by the reviews.

I guess Half Life 2 has been pushed back to November.

Preordered Xmen Legends, even if I haven't quite finished the first one yet. Still thinking about Ultimate Spiderman. Don't know about the other Marvel game, I just got Hulk and 4 Marvel games at one time is a lot.

I'm trying to maximize the Gamerush deal and only preorder $50 games. But I think Ninja Gaiden Black, Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders are both 40, right? I think NHL 2K is still 20, though NBA 2K seems to be 40 now (and for some reason, Blockbuster has the new NBA live for 40 as well).

Interesting you said that...about going straight to the 360, that is.

I want to start playing games in high-def. The few games I've got now on the Xbox are awesome, but with better shading, better textures, and anti-aliasing, the next generation of games will LOOK even better on a HDTV. Of course this says nothing of how the gameplay will be.

I think NBA LIVE 06 is $40. I thought 2K6 was $20.

I've been trying to take advantage of the GameRush deals also by getting $50 games, but I have about all i want until XBOX360 comes out.

I still have a few PSP games on order though.

I'm not sure where the Xbox version lacks in comparison to the PC, but my guess is the amazing draw distance and number of players on screen at once, among other things I'm sure.
