BTW, this was released this past tuesday, though I've only been able to find it at TRU. Anyone else have luck at other stores, or is this an exclusive?

I linked up via Bark Mode to a Duff cart last weekend at EB. It unlocked a new interior, star sunglasses and the Cavalier King Charles spaniel. She's also now on my friends list which gives me a total of 7 people. I've got 12 breeds unlocked and haven't really played in awhile-Castlevania and Metroid Pinball are now DS constants.

I recently did a survey on my Nintendogs experience from Nintendo (by registering the game). It was a extremely thorough survey and they asked about opinions on: gameplay, packaging, merchandising and future expansions (dogs getting older, other animals, more things to do).

Its a TRU and Target exclusive, but there is still no Target around me that have them. My wife bought her's tonight at TRU. Its not as nice as the Candy Pink Japanese one, but it looks okay. They used a black bottom instead of white like Japan and it came with a regular black stylus. Luckily she got the pink Kirby one anyway. Comes with a bone screen cleaner and stickers for the system. I doubt she will use the stickers though.

Shes happy so whatever.

We went out and tried to do this, but none of the three Gamestops we tried had an idea about it. Two even had the flyer stuck on the window for the Halloween treat Bark Mode thing and still had no idea about it. We went by the EB at 1604 and my wife tried bark mode there and ended up connecting to your dog. She now has jediwicz on her friends list. Apparently the system remembers the last person to do bark mode and gives that profile to the next person. However, no Duff at any store we tried so no new interior, sunglasses or the spaniel unlocked for us.

Kind of pissed that Nintendo is doing this promotion with Gamestop and Gamestop has the flyers on the window of the stores, but the employees don't know about it or how to set it up. Bad communication somewhere.

I told my girlfriend about the Nintendogs halloween thing at Gamestop. She wanted to do it, but was too embarrassed. I told her it would probably work fine if we just stayed in the car outside, and it did. She got some sunglasses and unlocked another breed, as well as that stupid message. Then we went inside and she bought the new Hello Kitty GBA game :)

Apparently, the latest Fry's ad has the bundle too, so it's not just TRU and Target (if Target ever gets them).

Fry's has the pink bundle or just the teal one?

The Teal bundle is available pretty much everywhere (including Fry's), it's the Pink that is a TRU and Target exclusive. I was able to pick up the Pink at TRU last week during one of my many Buy 2 Get 1 game free visits.

Major bump for help. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and we are having trouble with it (apparently so is my niece).

We are on an endless loop of naming the 'effing dog. She has gotten it to learn how to sit (the first command) but when we get to the "call dog and tell it to sit" part the dog does nothing. We do this for a bit before it tells us it's forgotten its name and we go through the 20 minute cycle of renaming and teaching it to sit again. She's gone through this process about 10 times today. Really fucking annoying. My daughter is pretty frustrated. My niece got hers last Christmas and she said she gave up for the same reason. What gives? There's nothing in the manual that helps.

I read the whole thread and it doesn't look like anyone had any issues. We're on a DSi, not sure if that would make a difference. I guess I need to look into mic sensitivity but any other tips?
