Streets of Rage definitely. That title needs a followup although with similar style gameplay.

Also what about Populous? I know there are other god games but the simplicity of Populous was nice. They could even give your guys some decent AI this time round.

I miss Loom as far as the point and click adventures go.
For newer games i would kill for a new version of Bushido Blade. It was one of the best fighting games i have ever played - then BB2 came along and was terrible.

Rocket Jockey - PC. Man that game was so fun, too bad the install forces you to put DirectX 5 or something which blows up your machine.

I'll second Gabriel Knight. The first two games were awesome.

I'll also add the Island of Dr. Brain. I loved that series. Loom still takes top prize though.

Time for a new followup to Baldur Gates series on PC. Not a continuation the story, but a game of similar scope and style from our friends at Bioware (taking advantage of modern technologies of course). KOTOR just doesn't measure up and Jade Empire is a different beast entirely. Also we all know about the horrendous 1 player experience of Neverwinter Nights (I never really could get into multi either).

Actually, "Island of Dr. Brain" is the sequel. the original is "Castle of Dr. Brain".

As for Loom, I think it would make a great film...in capable hands, of course.
