I'm looking for a new copy of GTA: SA for Xbox to purchase as a gift, but other than ebay it looks like none of the online retailers are carrying it. I know about the ratings change, but has this game been pulled from the shelves altogether here in the U.S.? Does anyone know where I can pick this up?

They have all disappeared around me...I was looking to EBAY some, but no luck.

Do a froogle.com search... i'm sure someone has it. Retailers like Fry's electronics still carry it.

I asked about it at my EBGames store last week, and they said they were still selling it. Maybe it was just that store, but call yours.

One of the Media Plays around me has it. It has an ESRB Adults Only sticker over the M rating. I think they added "nudity" to the content list on the back too.

I ordered it (for Xbox) a few days after the major retailers pulled it from shelves and it arrived. The merchant was Superduperclub. Check Pricegrabber, there were several retailers that were carrying it, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the suggestion. I called my local EB and found out they did have it in stock, so I picked up a copy.

From what I understand, ebgames still sell it, they just can't display it. That's what an employee told me.

yup, thats true. they are keeping all their new/used copies in the back now. also you have to bring ID that proves you are 18+, because of the new Adults Only rating.

Maybe they should do that with all violent games. If this works for GTA then why not doom or BF.

I don't think Doom has blow jobs, at least not on any levels I've reached so far.
