Why wouldn't you be able to carry it on?

Carry it on. And it wouldn't hurt to promote it too. Tell everybody that it's "the bomb."

I don't think airport security is allowed to do racial profiling of consoles.

It may also need some sort of TV to play it with. I haven't tried to play my xbox with just an AC adapter but next time I'm bored I'll give it a shot.

you will have no problems from security at all............about a year ago I had to carry on some test equipment to go from Indianapolis to Pheonix for testing at Toyota proving grounds and I took alot of what can only be described as suspicious looking equipment and when the guy at security asked me what it was I told him oh it's a "Pulse System Front End" so the guy looks at me and says "Oh Okay" like he knew what the hell it was and just let me walk on through without any further question. The security at airports is still laughable. .............you could probably tell the guy it's a nuclear detonation device and he'd just be like "oh that's cool, go on through".

Unless the item in question was something like a paperback novel, in which case you'd be tackled by 50 guys.

I got searched because my pack of gum set off the metal detector. Ya that was fun taking my belt off and having to hold my pants up infront of a bunch of strangers while the TSA guy molested me with his metal detector.
