I can

Seriously though, I agree with you in some respects and not in others. The high-end game in both EQ2 and WoW mostly consist of instance raiding. At least with WoW you have the option of doing the PVP thing, and they have been adding some new instances pretty regularly. WoW also has gone out of their way to make the experience fun and not so serious which is why I like it. The Darkmoon Faire they have going on right now is awesome, and and christmas they had new fun related quests and made it so you can throw snowballs at each other, etc. Everquest was and is always too serious for me. I play to have fun, not to work. Everquest was more like work, and the grind bored me. Just my opinion..

Evercrack is a highly addictive game, if you have an addictive personality or really enjoy RPG games (dice or video) you really need to be carefull. Played for 3.5 years from when Scars of Velious release till PoP and the damn Frogs came out. If you get into a serious guild, you'll never see the light of day but you'll become so involved in the game that food and sleep are not even things you think about just so you can get your Epic and go on Guild kills. Heck, even paid for 2 accounts and played on two computers at the same time so I could maximize my playing experience and time. I had a blast playing the game and the social aspect of the game was great, but it cost me dearly in time I could have spent more wisely with my family instead of a bunch of pixels.

To sum it up, my wife was called an "Internet Widow" because of the game and if my wife found out that I was even talking about this subject I might be sleeping on the sofa for the next month. So be careful, EQ was and might still be that fun of a game for you.
