What are the best N64 games?

I just got one to re-live and actually finish "Super Mario 64", so what are some of the other greatest games in your opinion made and can be reasonably easy to get for the Nintendo 64?

Ones that are just plain put together real well and a blast to play over and over...

Thanks for opinions.

Blast Corp
Banjo-Kazooie (presumably Banjo Tooie as well, but I never got around to picking it up)
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Wave Race

Drawing a blank to think up more at the moment.

Blast Corp isone of the best games I've ever played. Many agree. It's a fairly big "cult" hit.

Oh yeah, duh.

Zelda: OOT and Majora's Mask are probaby the two best games on the system.

huh. I never played it. I remember a friend of mine being pissed because right when N64 came out, it was one of the few games that wasn't sold out (therefore I just assumed it wasn't good).

Like I said, it was a cult hit, not a huge seller.

One of the must unique and addictive games I've ever played.

It was pretty well reviewed as well.

8.4 review from Gamespot.

89% average on Gamerankings.

thanks for so far...keep em coming.

also, what are some really great "M" rated games for N64. I like the more mature games with violence, horror, fun, etc...

Pretty much out of luck with M-rated games.

Only ones I can think of are Pefect Dark and the Turok games (first 2 are pretty good).

I didn't care much for Conker, and if you have an X-box you might as well get the remake. Same game with much better graphics and an added multiplayer mode.

Don't forget the two Goemon games: Mystical Ninja starring Goemon and Goemon's Great Adventure. They're nutty and fun.

Zelda OOT is my favorite game of all time.
Goldeneye was a great FPS in its time.

Just a side note on Blast Corps, I remember renting it, and since it only had one save file everything was already finished. I couldn't figure out how to restart it.

You could have just put in a memory card, and it would have given you three save slots on there. It was one of the few games that could save to a memory card or to the cartridge.

I have the GameCube Legend of Zelda disc with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (and Zelda I and II for NES), but if I didn't, I'd pick those two up.

I would say Paper Mario and Dr. Mario 64 are essential games.

If you have a few friends, I'd say the original Super Smash Bros. is better than its sequel.

Blast Corps - awesome frustrating fun
Mario Kart 64 - best game in the series, if not for the slow down in 4 player mode it would be perfect (well add online play I guess!)
FZero 64 - The GC one should be better but I haven't got round to it yet. This one rocks!
Zelda OOT - I'd probably rather play it on the GC if I could get the ltd edition disc. (has master dungeons or something)
Starfox - pretty good if you like your on rails shooters

All my friends raved about Tetrisphere which I could never get into. Funnily enough they always gave me a beating in it .

For counter opinions I thought Diddy Kong was terrible (no sense of speed) and Banjo Kazooie was an only average platformer, nothing special apart from the graphics which were good for the time. Goldeneye was good for its time but has been superceded many times over and doesn't really have a lot to offer these days.

with "Star Fox 64"...what exactly does 'on-rail shooter' mean?

is it anything like "Space Harrier"...you remember that one, right?
