Can anyone reccomend a good farm sim game. You know, for when real farming just isn't enough.

Any one of the Harvest Moon games. As you might imagine, they can get tedious rather quickly.

My wife loves playing Harvest Moon: It's A Wonderful Life (GC). I got it for her for Christmas once Animal Crossing lost its luster. Then for her birthday in April I got her Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (GBA) and she likes playing that as well. She says you can do more in that GBA game than in the GC one.

My girlfriend plays the GBA version a lot.
She's anxious to get the new version which lets you play as a girl farmer.

I had the GC version of the game, but I didn't think it was put together very well. It had all the components of a Harvest Moon game, but the controls were horrible. The game was very unpolished.

There is a John Deere game called American Farmer. They sell it at John Deere stores. It's like SimFarm. You can get the demo at www.gamespot.com
