This will be my first year attending as well. WOOHOO!!! Unfortunately, I won't be arriving in LA until Wednesday morning. I hear the line to get your pass may take 4 hours if youwait until Wednesday! A friend got a pass for me but is there any way I can get it mailed to me beforehand? Any other advice you guys can give would be great! This will also be my first time in LA so...yay me! LOL

I don't remember seeing really long lines on Wednesday morning last year. I got in on Tuesday and we went to the convention center (to make sure we knew how to get there) and picked up our badges. Then went back Wednesday morning and waited in line to get through the doors.

This year if you signed up for a badge before a certain date they mailed it to you. But admission is really two pieces, a badge, and a lanyard (it denotes by color your level (exhibitor/press/exhibits only/etc.)). Even though I already have my badge, I still have to stop and get the lanyard at the convention site.

I'm going for the first time too, although it will only be for one day through work. Any recommendations on which day is the best to go?

I'll probably just grab whatever i can, so if i have any left over stuff i'll be happy to ship it out.

My requests are the same. If you see a Sega/Sammy booth please let them know that Dolphin Blue needs a home on a home console (it's an arcade game, think Metal Slug but with 2003 2D graphics and animation, freakin' sweet). Any Japanese game stuff would make me happy other than what I've previously asked for. Capcom/Sega/Sammy/Konami though nothing priority.

Not a swag request, but I'd love if anybody who loves old school gaming mentions Dolphin Blue to Sega Sammy, I played it at the arcade auction this weekend and I'll never see it again unless it gets dropped on PS2 (even import only). Thanks.

Would appreciate anything Nintendo(home console only, don't do the portable scene), in particular Zelda and Revolution.

I am interested in any next-gen system swag (XBox 360, PS3, Nintendo Revolution)
Also, any Star Wars, Square-Enix, or Zelda stuff would be great too.

Thanks!

Leaving early tomorrow morning (Around 5AM) to head up there. I'll be there for the 3 days, so if theres anything in particular that you're looking for, let me know and I'll try to track it down for you. Definately plan on hitting the SONY and Nintendo booths up first (as they're right next to eachother), and hopefully get something good from each

I also have a ton of stuff from years gone by if there is anything specific you're looking for

I'll probably be back around 8 PM on friday, and I'll try to put together a full list at that time.

I would like an item, especially if its anything related to Devil May Cry, Metal Gear or Halo. If anybody wants to hook me up with anything, that would be appreciated. I want to be able to say I got E3 swag

Ok, back from the madhouse. Parking was a b*tch, waiting in line in the sun for a badge holder was a b*tch, and trying to snag some t-shirts was a b*tch. All that aside, it was a blast. Didn't seem as flashy as the first time I went when MS, Sony, and Nintendo rolled out the xbox, ps2, and gamecube but still fun. I am, however, going to suffer in purgatory for several millenia for forgetting my camera *AARGGHGGHH* and i apologize for that. However...

I will put together 3 care packages. I'm going to take some snapshots and post them up. First person to post that they want the package after it is shown will get it*. 1 coming up soon, 1 after i get back from the gym, and 1 later in the night. I hope this makes up for having no camera there

*contiguous U.S.A only. sorry.

Package 1 contains:
1. T-shirt, "Alan Wake, A Pyschological Action Thriller" in front, "Best Played on ATI Radeon" in back"

2. LED light up pen with strap. promotion for Conquer Online. remove top, remove batteries, take out paper, replace batteries, light it up.

3. PS2 neckstrap collar thing.

4. Poster for Rockstar's "The Warriors" game.

(also, i will not be splitting up each package into individual pieces. what you see is what you get in the package because, you know, shipping charges will have to apply and i don't want to do that )
