It dosen't matter if your xbox is modded. It will work either way. It just acts like a huge system link between your box and others. goto xbconnect.com for my info. I play halo 2 on a daily basis on xbconnect and it is pretty good. A little laggy at times though.

Can't give you step by step instructions since I am at work but I think you need either a router, or your high speed box with a usb port or 2 network cards.

My set up is this.

High Speed Modem connected to router with ethernet cable
Router connected to computer with another ethernet cable
xbox connected to router with a crossover ethernet cable.

After d/l the program. You have to input some settings such as IP info. The program must be able to then find your xbox and it will allow you to join games.

If it's not working, it should give you an error msg of some sort. Pay a visit to the forums or the FAQ's on the xbconnect web page

well have it open and make yourself an account (free) and make sure your xbox is on. you'll have to tell it to look for your xbox and when it finds it, it will give you a message. then go into a room and find whatever game you want to play, open that game up and set it to the system link type so it looks for a game and then join whomever is hosting, if you want to host you'll create a game and then be in the chat room waiting for people to join. if your xbox and computer are in different rooms it is going to suck.

You install it on your PC, create an account, join a room (or whatever) for the game you want to play. Once you are ready to play, launch your game on Xbox and navigate to wherever System Link is in that particular game and either join a game or host one. When you hit join it should find the game session you are trying to play, like it would if you were on a LAN. XBConnect is just a tunneling app to allow System Link games to be playable over the internet. Obviously you need a router and both your PC running XBConnect and your Xbox need to be on it.
