I went earlier looking, I thought for sure I would never find ED since it is old as dirt now and i'm sure has been part of the previous sales, floored I found the last copy. Also got I-ninja and La Pucelle.

Well I found Batman for GC, but CC refused to sell it to me.

The girl rang it up, and was confused as to why it was ringing up $1.99. I guess the security device and the $50 price tag was throwing her. I looked at the monitor and there it was $1.99, but she walks over to the service desk, to ask her manager. Manager flips out and says that its a mis price and no way its real. She then hits a few keys on a terminal at the service desk, and the price changes on the monitor i was looking at, from $1.99 to $49.99.

I reply no I do not want it at that price, I know CC has unadvertised price cuts on games, similar to the $5 deal Last summer. She doesn't budge. I say Isn't it in the system, since its ringing up $1.99 on its own? She replies that its in the system, but she would have to get a price cut notice from the home office. Which I know is shit cause i work in retail also. So I could tell she wasn't going to budge, so I said hell with it, wasn't worth the argument. I just put back the other stuff i was going to buy, and left.

Do yourself a huge favor and buy Beyond Good & Evil - it is, by far, one of the greatest video games I've ever played.

Hmmm....on the original forum they said that CC emailed all employees that it is an error and is in the process of being fixed.

Yeah, BGE would have been another steal at that price.

I didn't like it as much as some (to limited combat, needed more items and moves ala Zelda) and too short, but it was still a very fun game.

Most of these titles haven't be in CC for a long time. Probably only 1 in 10 stores has even some of these titles.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another games clearance at some point in the next few months. Alot of older games never seem to sell and the $4.99 sale was the only way to get rid of some of those titles.
