Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Collector's Edition?

Was the Xbox version available with PS2, PC and GC?

I can't seem to find any place that sells it. I try Best Buy, CC, EB, Gamestop.

Was the CE cancelled for xbox or delayed?

Quantities were very limited. Most places (EB Games, Gamestop, etc) took pre-orders only for the CEs and didn't have any extras...so if you didn't pre-order...you didn't get one. I called about 15 stores and found one Gamestop that had an extra XBOX CE. I snatched that up on release night, however. By now...ebay will be your best friend, at least until some used ones appear at those stores again. Not sure if the big guys (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc) even got any CEs.

Edit: It seems that apart from the normal Limited Edition Tin Case, there is a pure collectors case that is even more unavailable. I'm not really sure what you'd do with it since it doesn't come with the game and the moment you open the shrink wrap to put your game in, the value decreases significantly. Search on ebay and you'll see one or two auctions for this other case.

My local Wal-Mart has several copies of the limited edition with the clear slipcover.

So I am taking it that there will be no more of the Collector's Edition in stores? The guy at EB told me that they cannot order any more. He then told me that I should preorder from now on.

I have a sealed copy of the CE for Xbox(impulse purchase, only CE I've seen out there), but I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or get rid of it. I don't want to open it to find out if it's better than the first game was, so I guess I'll rent it if I can find one of my free rental coupons...

lol, I wish I had money to burn - I have over $4000 in student loans/credit to pay off by the end of the year, and I only make ~$800/month(though I'll be working full-time now that I'm graduating in a few weeks).....I typically manage my money well enough to pick up a game once in a while, but I've suddenly reached the point where I'm giving that up, I want this debt off my back....
Anyway, I'm a sucker for a "Limited Edition" of just about anything. If an LE is released for a game, I always buy it.
I would buy dog shit if it came in a limited edition holographic package.
