Logitech Cordless Precision Controller for Xbox Question
For those of you that own one of these, do you have any issues regarding the amount of pressure you have to apply to the A, B, X, Y buttons? I just purchased one of these after reading the unanimous positive reviews claiming that this is the best wireless controller to get for the Xbox, but am very disappointed (after using my Wavebird on the Gamecube). I can't seem to pull off any combos in DOA w/o having to push on the buttons much harder than I used to on my regular wired controllers. I can't even pull off the simple 3-hit combo in Metal Gear Solid 2. I don't see what the problem is. I'll press on a button as lightly as I used to on my wired controller, and I see the lights on the receiver and the controller blink, but nothing happens in the games.
If somebody could let me know if this is normal, I'd appreciate it. I need to determine whether I should get a replacement, or return this.

I had one before and sold it after 2 weeks.
I think that controller sucks and it's not really precise.
The controller might be working and all but don't expect much from it. I think this controller is overrated.

I've played DOA with the controller, and I haven't had any issues (although I'm not really, really good at it either). The only issue with button sensitivity I've had is with the R and L buttons...

yes its normal the controller is a POS and i cant for the life of me see how everyone recommends this thing(but i do love the cordless communicator everyone bashes). the one for ps2 is perfect (i have both and have tested them with the same games for xbox/ps2), the xbox one has the button issue, and the triggers are TOO sensitive, there's also a small delay from far distances, which isnt there with the ps2 version and worst of all the analog sticks have no resistance, so precise aiming is 10x harder (try playing outlaw golf 2 with it). i thought it was defective, returned it and same issues. i did keep for when i use the xbox in the living room, but i only play games like trivial pursuit or poker online with it, street fighter and outlaw golf are basically impossible, i just bought one of those $5 cord extenders and use the controller s.

Thanks for the responses. I was planning to get another one in case mine was defective, but according to DVDKrayzie it sounds like it's a normal problem. I'm going to be shipping it back to Buy.com. Kinda sucks going back to a wired controller since I have wireless ones for my GameCube and PS2, but not for my favorite console. Oh well, the Xbox and my Dreamcast have something in common now

I love mine. The only problem I have is that I have been playing so infrequently that I get sluggish responce due to low batteries, but once replaced it works great. I have noticed on Madden it sometimes will lob a pass when you bullet it or vice-versa. I have a 2.4ghz phone, wireless G router/Xbox live, and bluetooth headset for live and I have had no problems.
Can you use 2 of these on your system?
