Now that's just messing me all up :)

Roto 03-27-05 07:44 PM

Sorry, but I'm too lazy to keep doing this every week. :p Especially when a lot of the threads ended up only being a page long. I think twice a month is enough.

D300 03-27-05 08:46 PM

Twice a month is good, you also don't have to keep updating the All Time High Scores so frequently either. Especially when there's a competition going on, like the DK Jr. battle.

I probably won't, but I was trying to figure out how I was going to do it. I think that should work for a while without having to redesign the page. Besides, adding scores to that is a matter of seconds. It's changing the games that can be a bit of a chore. I just can't wait until I get to write gimmepilotwings on that friggin trophy :D

would you mind hosting the Track & Field that you used to host your challenge? The two that I have do not look like the ones that I have, and I want to make sure that it will be a valid score when I beat it. :)

Thanks

We used "trackfld" which is the main one. You can get specific roms from playagain.net pretty easily. Go there, click the "M.A.M.E." link on the left, the "Rechercher un jeu / Find a game" link, and then type the name of the game "track & field".

My site has a link to that and Petr1fied's Torrent which is a great way to just get all of the roms at once if you have the space to spare on your hard drive. I'm not going to bother making sure people play the exact same version for the free for all, but if you want to know for sure you can click the # above the winners' names and it should take you to the original thread. I always specified which version it was.

If you still have trouble downloading Track & Field, I'll go ahead and host it.

Roto 03-29-05 08:22 PM

Oh, and while you are playing Track & Field, come up with 2 games to play in case you win Gorf and I'm Sorry. There are only 2 days left and it gives me a chance to test that the games will work and get a head start on the web page update.

I've changed my mind for my game choice...I just saw Splatterhouse in Gamepro today and got nostalgic :) Loved that game

D300 03-30-05 02:20 AM

I'll pick Puzz Loop.

gimmepilotwings 03-30-05 08:07 AM

One of them will be Solomon's Key.

The other I am not sure aout.

I just tried this. I was going to suggest using stage mode only because I thought panic mode was too easy, but the high scores on marp were about the same for both. What do you think, let people pick what they want, or make everyone play the same mode?

I lean towards letting people pick unless you have a preference.

gimmepilotwings 03-30-05 10:41 PM

Rush N Attack is the other one.

Since the high scores are close, we can play either mode.

Roto 03-31-05 08:40 PM

Only about 2 hours left. I'm making my last ditch effort at these games.

Just barely! Instead of Rush N' Attack it will be the game I love to hate: Crazy Balloon

Time's up! Go to #35
