I know there's a few people here that are fans of the series, so here are some screenshots of the upcoming remakes. I've got my pre-order for Ys III in already though I'm not sure if I want to spend the extra lettuce to get the limited edition. Ys IV on the other hand.. Mask of the Sun, wow that a boring game.. it's a damn shame they didn't remake the good Ys IV.

I have to likely import these babies since Sony will likely just deny these like Ys 1&2 Eternal. Maybe there still some hope for YS 4 the real version (duo) down the road.
Oh make sure everyone is buying Ys 6 now in stories. In a few we should know more about Ys 7:OIF!!!!

Madara, not to defend Sony.. but Ys I&II Eternal Story was a mess in dire need of some love and care. It was really unpolished and was extremely noticeable of it's PC port status. My guess is that it was probably rushed out the door at the last minute as DigiCube was going bankrupt. Still an freaking awesome game though.

The new Ys III, IV and V remakes are being programmed from the ground up for PS2.

Oooh, I'll have to remember to get online when I get home to check out that Ys VIII teaser.

I hope it plays like and builds on the Ys VI engine. That game was yummy.
