I'm just confused as why you would delibrately split content. Does it really matter that the tread is X pages long?
What really got me though was the fact that the post was simply to create another DS thread, there was no real DS content in it from the get go.

He was probably confused as in the past the mods would shut long threads as the old software had issues with threads that got over a certain length.
The new software (for the past year or two) has no such problem, hence no more 1/and only part I, part I, ....etc.
