Retrogame Challenge #31 (2/27-3/6)
Week 31 is over!
The Rules:
So far we have only been using MAME to play the games, but that can change, if the winner so chooses.
New to MAME? Feel free to ask questions here or read the tutorials
I am going to host the current ROMs and list of all the past winners and high scores here.
The Games:
(click the titles for info and how to play)
Puzzle Bobble (Japan System-B) - Score to beat: D300 10408880
Rastan (US set 1) - Score to beat: Roto 104700
Robotron: 2084 (Solid Blue label) - Score to beat: D300 312475
The Prize:
Whoever gets the high score for one of the games picks the next game that replaces it, so we should always have 3 to choose from. You also get your nameengraved permanently etched onto this eye catching trophy with a genuine Sharpie!
This Week's Winners:
The Rules:
- To enter, you just play one of the games and post a screenshot (F12 key in MAME) with your score.
- The deadline to post your high scores will be Sunday 9:00 PM Eastern US time.
- Winners must choose a new game before the deadline. If not, the high score is still up for grabs until one is chosen.
- The games should be at least 10 years old and ones we haven't played before.
- Any scores you submit should be played during the week of the contest using no continues or any features of the emulator that you wouldn't get by playing the actual machine.

Not bad for my fist try at this game in 10 years or so.
I'm sure it will be beat easily. But here is my score
I always hated that level and it gives me problems every time.

Thanks, I have to do all the electronics, wiring, leds etc. Still need to paint and design the playfield area. It was originally going to be a Visual Pinball controller only. But then I saw these Wico leaf joysticks with the Robotron handles on Ebay and it turned into the "RoboPinball".

Since you're getting 2.5 million, there isn't really any advice that I can give you. We're basically at the same level. Level 16 was a barrier for me, at that level you just have to be accurate and make very few mistakes.
