need a video game title....
A few months ago on gamespot.com I watched a video demo of a tactical squad-based game, set somewhere in the Middle East.
I'm not sure if it's out yet or still on the way. But I remember it was very interractive, where you point and click and send your squad members where you want, sort of like the upcoming Brothers in Arms.
The demo was being narrated by the developer, who kept stressing how the whole game was based on real-life tactics, down to the smallest detail (like if you step in front of a soldier he lowers his weapon, then when you move away he goes back to covering his position).
Does anyone have any idea what game I'm talking about? I forget.

The "point and click" thing makes me think of Full Spectrum Warrior, which is out for PC and XBox, coming soon for PS2 I believe. What platform was the game for? Might help narrow it down a little. Personally though, my expertise in this particular genre is lacking, I'm sure somebody else will come along and have more to add.

I don't think it's Full Spectrum Warrior, because there is no physical "you" in that game to step in front of a soldier. Don't know what the game is, though. They're all so similar.

Yeah, it is Full Spectrum Warrior. You're right about there not being a physical "you", I wasn't remembering it quite right.
But I looked that game up and that's definitely it. Thanks!
BTW -- First to Fight looks good, I'll have to remember that one.
