Just so anyone doesn't miss out - or just so nothing flies under my radar either - name that under exposed game that everyone should be playing right now but isn't.
For me, it would definitely have to be Katamari Damacy. It only uses one part of the controller: the joystick, just like the good old days. There's a beauty to it's simplicity: you roll around a ball collecting bigger and bigger objects trying to gain enough stuff to rebuilt a lost world. Crazy huh, and it sounds boring, but it's strangely addicting and the graphics, though simple, really give a good scope of the world around you. Amazing game that everyone should at least try, and it's cheap price point make it little/no risk.

How about "Arc: Twilight of the Spirits".
I think it's actually a couple of years old but I only just bought it recently when I found it cheap. Everything about it screams 1st gen ps2 game, but the story and characters are actually compelling and interesting, more so than most square rpgs in fact. It's to the point where I've played through to almost the end of the game in 3 weeks (about 40 hrs) and I haven't done that with an rpg since FF7.
There's absolutely no need to have played the previous arc the lad games. Oh yeah, and ignore the horrible dubbing
.
75% on game rankings.

I'm gonna throw in a vote for Treadmarks, although it's really closer to a "cult following" than a "sleeper", really.
While it's a little on the old side (came out around late '99 or so), It's definitely one of my favorite PC games of all time. It's essentially your standard deathmatch type of game, but with tanks and deformable terrain.

My favorite "sleeper" title ever. Everything about the game just kicks ass. If you like games like Tenchu and Splinter Cell, you owe it to yourself to check it out. And the sequel (coming soon) looks even better.

Nightmare of Druga was indeed, as many news outlets dubbed it - a Nightmare. I honestly can't recommend a game that maliciously punishes players.
Adding to the list would be Kingdom under Fire: Crusaders.

A few people have said Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders. I've been buying all the dynasty warriors games lately which I think are great. How does it compare to those? I notice a few reviews did compare the 2 series.

But by by far its peoples lack of giving the GC a chance that I've caught the majority of people off guard with. It's actually really annoying at times because people will begin playing a said game and not want to leave until I have to kick them out...
