namru those are Gyorgs... that's where I'm stuck. I beat the red one once, and the blue one once, but now I'm trying to form the links in the patter so that I can beat the red one the second time around but the fireballs keep decharging me.

I finally finished this game yesterday. I really enjoyed the heck out of it and didn't find the last boss too hard. I like how they incoporated pretty much all of your items and skills to finish the last dungeon and boss. I didn't use any potions at all, only fairies which I had only 3 bottles of. I think I did end up using them all however. Great game!

Well, I finally started playing this and am at the Dark
I am really am impressed with this game and love how it really focuses on the relationships with people. I really has the feeling of Majora's Mask, which I liked better than Ocarina of Time. I would say. probably within the top three or four of Zelda games with LttP still being number one.
I have to say that I am disappointed that Nintendo is making the Zelda series easier. I really like a challenge and wish they would make more dungeons. I mean in LttP we got about 11 dungeons. Same goes with Wind Waker. My interest really fell when I knew there were so few dungeons. It really seems like they are trying to make the Zelda games easier and more kid friendly while making the Metroid series tough as nails.

Haven't got around to playing this yet (saving it for flight to Hawai'i in a month) but I love the direction the series has taken.
As my interest in gaming has waned, and as such my time spent on games has dropped, so have my skills and patience. I like a game I can spend 15-20 hours on, have a blast, and not get frustrated.
Zelda has pretty much passed up metroid as my favorite series mainly due to the difficulty in MP and MP2. I hate hard bosses.

Ok, just finished this today.
I liked it a lot. Some of the puzzles were tedious (figure out what pattern to split into to hit switches got old), but all in all it was a very fun game.
Not sure what the EGM guy was smoking saying the last boss was the hardest in series history. I didn't use any kind of healing (other than picking up hearts that appeared) in any stage of the last battle, and beat it on my first try.
It was a little tricky to get to him fast enough to get the battle started, but the battle itself was relatively easy.
I'd give it a 9/10. A little too short and they could have put the shrinking element to much better use for puzzles, otherwise it would get a 10.
Can't wait for the GC Zelda this fall!
