Guncon 2 support on LCD TVs?

I just got the Time Crisis 3 bundle with the Guncon 2 as a present today. It mentions that it does not support LCD TVs. Is there a reason for this?

Thanks for any help.

I am not sure of the technical mumbo jumbo, but guns only work with tube tv's(besides a few like the sniper rifle for xbox that work with rear pro.) no gun currently made for consoles can be used with an LCD tv or monitor just do like me and buy a 36" tube and enjoy the goodness that is Time Crisis

off topic what is the name of the game for ps that game with a guncon but was like little mini games( shooting targets and whatnot)

that would be Point Blank.

I used to have a 32" tube tv in my room, recently I got an LCD TV to replace it.
