Well due to the great GameRush deals lately, I've already got all the killer games I wanted lately (Halo2, KOTOR2, Star Wars Battlefront, MechAssault 2 is on the way, as is RE4 and many others).

My son who is 6 and whose mother keeps a very tight reign on his gaming however, received the original Metroid for his GBA, along with Super Monkey Ball 2 for the cube. His aunt is sending him Donkey Kong Country 2 for the GBA also.

Also in one of my GameRush trades I picked up Mario Tennis, but my wife said my son already had enough games under the tree (and that my daughter and he had the same amount of gifts, etc), so I said fine, have him wrap it and give it to me for Christmas , so "I" got Mario Tennis...

I got Mario Cart Doulble Dash and Super Smash Brothers. I'll probably return Super Smash Brothers for Mario and Luigi.

I went out Thursday and got myself (my wife and I don't buy each other gifts):

I think Tiger Woods is the best game I've played so far for the DS. The touch screen swing control is neat. Super Mario 64 is good, the mini-games are great. I played Asphalt Urban GT for about an hour and I will probably never play it again. I wasn't impressed.

I was going to get Ridge Racer, but I wanted to wait and get it for the PSP.

Xbox, which my wife bought in October and was summarily opened on November 9 (midnight).

Gamecube from my brother, which a good friend of mine added Donkey Konga to for Christmas!

I also got Morrowind GOTY edition for Xbox, from aforementioned wife.

For her, I picked up Ratchet and Clank 3 and Animal Crossing.

There just is never enough time in the day to play everything I want to....

I got a Gameboy Player. Then I got another Gameboy Player. So I get to try to return one. I got a reciept, but it's from Gamestop.com, and they only accept returns via mail (not in store, how lame!) and credit the original account (lame again)--so don't buy gifts at gamestop.com, because returning them will be a bit of a pain in the ass.

Since my XBOX is less than two months old I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far:

Today for XMAS it was Halo, Rally Sport Challenge, and a Linksys WRT54G router so I can get on XBOX live.

These go with Crimson Sky's, LOTR Return of the King, and KOTOR games that I've had since getting the XBOX.

Nintendo Gamecube with three controllers (one orange), and memory card, and the following Gamecube games:
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (great game)
Finding Nemo
Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom
Mario Smash Brothers
Mario Kart: Doubledash
Harry Potter: Squidish (sp?) game
Zeldo: Wind Waker
Medal of Honor: Pacific Theater (for me)
Total cost: ~ $268 after tax

I also won a Halo X-box bundle a couple of days before Christmas, but just sold it on ebay for $300 (~ $270 profit after expenses). It would have been nice to have, but the Gamecube is a great improvement over my old console, a Nintendo 64, and lots more kids games.

By the way, I was wanting to buy a soccer game for the gamecube, any suggestions on what to get, or what to avoid?
