GTA: San Andreas for the Xbox in June '05

Just heard that GTA:SA will be released for the Xbox in June '05. I hope the price is as low as the double pack from last year.

The article says a PC version is coming out the same time as the XBOX version.

I think that makes my decision to get a XBOX much easier.

that's going to be a long wait....

It will probably be around $50 when it first comes out...the 2 pack was $50 when it came out last year, but quickly dropped down in price though

Eh, at least us X-Box owners get better graphics and the ability to play our own music during the game......

couldn't agree more. unless it's like need for for speed 2 and totally neglects cuustom soundtracks, in which case is just plain retarded.

Not really. I should be wrapping up my constant Halo 2 playing by then.

Not to mention KOTOR 2, Doom 3, Splinter Cell 3, Republic Commando, and hopefully Half-Life 2 (if it makes it to Xbox). I still have a dozen games sitting here waiting for me to get tired of Halo 2 and I still haven't finished even a quarter of GTA 3 & Vice since it came out on Xbox.

Not at all, it's only 6 more months away, not an eternity. To other posters as far as what games they will be playing. I am so far behind becasue of just not having enough time(boy marriage does have some drawbacks) and other issues. I will be playing POP:Sands of Time, KOTOR, MP2:Echoes, and PGR2.
It amazes me to hear people that cannot find other games to fill what is definitely a short time period for sure.

Oh, that will be coming, not quite yet but it will soon enough. I do realize that it will get worse, the playing time that is, not the joy of having kids.

Yeah...I guess I probably misspoke. I should have put an age bracket in my statement.

I just had my son back in April and since they time, watching movies, playing Xbox, and just doing normal single/married man stuff is at a premium. It will definitely get better when he gets old enough to play with me. But I still have a while for that.

I'm holding my 3 month old son as I type this. Pre-kid, in an average week, I probably played about 10-12 hours per week. Post-kid, I've probably played 10 hours total. I miss gaming, but I wouldn't trade my situation for anything.

Nah..Was never going to buy it for halo 2. Just really loved San Andreas..and wanted to play that...but I can wait till it comes out for Xbox.

I am more interested in KOTOR and Morrowind for xbox.

I recently picked up an Xbox and news of GTA is great...I bought my Xbox in november, but not for Halo 2... I bought it for CONKER...I know it's not till March, but that's the reason I picked up the box (well...that and the crystal pack was pretty sweet)... hope GTA will have custom soundtracks...not enough games with that feature... until Conker and GTA, I'll just keep playing Burnout 3.

Not bad, I'm hoping it's more enjoyable for Xbox. For PS2, the map is all fuzzy and tough to find your ojbective, and stuff like spraypainting is boring and tiring with the fuzzy map, not to mention it's so "been there done that" ever since, what Jet Grind Radio?

I'm selling m PS2 right now but I'll consider giving San Andreas another try for Xbox.
