I remember someone was saying on one of these boards a "Rumor" that the reason there hasn't been much activity from RARE was because MS has had them hard at work on Halo 3 for the past year or two (All the while Bungie was working on Halo 2) since supposedly Bungie wants to move on to other projects. With XBox 2 coming out by the end of next year supposedly? this would have Halo 3 out in time to launch with the system. And since RARE does have FPS experience....
I'm sure this is just your typical internet poppycock but its still an interesting theory.
In any case its funny how no ONE has seen ANYTHING regarding a Perfect Dark sequel (Screenshots etc).

That is an interesting theory...but i am sure a false one. That would be a big risk...someone besides Bungie developing Halo 3. Anyway...I think it is too soon for Halo 3 to come out this year...they should at least be 2 years apart. Otherwise you will have just very small updates with each game like with your sports games(NCAA Football in particular).

Rare of yesteryear could step up to the plate. Rare of 2004 is just a batboy hoping to get his chance one day.
Although, now that Ghoulies is around the $10 price point, I put it on the Christmas list.
