Update steam and get Hl2 Deathmatch.. It is surrprisingly fun with the gravity guy. I grabbed some guys grenade he threw and lobbed it back killing him.. Give it a try and post what you think here..

hl2dm is pretty awful....the only way to kill anyone is to throw crap at them with the gravity gun, as the machine gun/pistols etc are useless. It takes at least 2 clips with the machine gun to bring someone down, of course you are usually dead by then.

Even after just a few minutes of playing, it's obvious that the physics of Half-Life 2 offer a lot more to deathmatch than just flinging heavy items at each other. To be sure, hitting someone at close range with a dumpster or a file cabinet is probably an instant kill. But you'll quickly discover other nuances: if someone's carrying an explosive barrel, you can get an easy kill by shooting it from far range. If someone flings a heavy item at you, you can block it with the gravity gun, or even catch it in flight and fling it back. So it introduces a new dynamic to deathmatch -- do you rely on the gravity gun, or try to gain an edge using standard weapons?

Yeah i threw a grenade back at someone the other day... just do it quick or you will die (as this was my 4th attempt to catch one)
