Ok, I'm stuck. I'm on the airboat, at a part where there were two armored vehicles attacking you, a crashed popeye looking boat in the middle of the lake, and what appears to be a jump ramp to a pipe behind some bars. I keep getting to the ramp, and jumping off it to enter the pipe, but the airboat never makes it. I think I'm high enough, but the airboat keeps acting as though it hit a wall. I went through the pipe on foot, and the helicopter shows up again when exiting the pipe. Ah!

Anyone know the answer to my question?
I just bought the game, and if I want to sell it after I finish it, say in a month or two, can I? I mean will the person that buys it be able to use it? If not, obviously I'll have to keep it.

I figured out what the problem was... I didn't get behind the bars the "proper" way. You were supposed to shoot some fire tanks and go through a container with the airboat. I was jumping off a log to get behind there, and there was an invisible "you didn't do this correctly" wall blocking me from making the jump. I blew up the containers and made the jump no problem.
After getting to the next area, I stopped playing HL2, though. I keep running into people that one should recognize if you played HL, which I was never able to, so I'm playing HL Source now

Just read some reviews, so HL2 normal version has no online multiplayer version of the new game? It only includes an updated version of CS with better graphics and slightly changed map? is that correct? It's not like doom3 that comes with own multiplayer maps?

That's correct. Half Life 2 didn't come with mutiplayer support or any mutiplayer maps.
If it makes you feel better, Doom 3 mutiplayer wasn't much of a mutiplayer anyways.

HL2's multiplayer is Counter Strike. Which makes sense, as that's what people played. No one played HL's original deathmatch.
I'm more of a Team Fortress fan myself... never liked Counterstrike much.
Well, the account is tied into your email and everything, and if you buy more Valve games, they'd be put on that account.
Well, there's only a handful... and they look fairly different because of the technology advances. There are a lot of new characters as well.

So maybe if I sold it, just pass the account onto someone else, or is that not legal? Just curious. If I can't sell it, I might just return the game and wait for a lower price.

More accurately, Doom 3 multiplayer sucked. It played pretty much the same as Quake 1 multiplayer. It was even capped at a small max number of players. Ridiculous.

The reason I asked is because I'm looking for a new online fps game, I haven't played any for two years since I stopped playing quake3 ctf.

Isn't the CS:source just the old CS with updated graphics or does it take full advantage of the engine?

Wow! I can use the flashlight as well as hold my weapon! How were they able to do that? Some kind of supercoding?
This game is awesome!
.
Don't know if that's a spoiler or not, but, better safe than sorry.

I can't stop playing this game. After 2 hours of play I get a bad headache, quite for a half our or so and go right back to playing. I liked Doom 3, but it absolutely pales in comparison to this game. Fucking brilliant.
