I bet it has to do with, that app where you can check who's online right now. Since everyone is on at once, It probably killed it.
note: I can't check which one of my friends is online right now using MSN messenger either.

I seriously hope they've beefed up the Live bandwidth for lamers like me who for no other game than Halo 2 would go live. I feel I'm probably not alone here having just now signed up with Live. My kids are playing some star wars game now and its lag lag lag gheyness. Hope its just a fluke...
