I saw that too. From what I understand, the handicap only makes you weaker. It doesn't make you stronger or harder to kill.

I haven't tried it. I just read the descriptions. It says that you become weaker as you set the handicap higher.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I am playing through on easy setting, mission Delusions and Grandeur, and I am stuck at a part where nothing happens? I fly the Banshee up to the ledge, where the Scarab blew the door open and then I went inside and killed the 5-6 brutes in the room. This is the room with the glass floors that you can go under. After I kill the brutes there is no where to go???? There are two doors at the top of the room, on the left and the right, but they do not open? Can anyone help? Thanks.

That is the part I'm on. Didn't the Flood come in? I've noticed that sometimes you have to wander around and hit the exact spot for it to load the next section. This may be whats happening.

No flood for me. According to the walkthrough on Gamespot it is right before the final boss of the game. I walked around the room for about a half an hour before giving up. I even flew back to the beggining of the stage to see if anything would happen.

Oh. That's not where I'm at. Can't help you there.

I noticed on the multiplayer map Battle Creek, inside the base where the flag is you can pick up the weapons through the wall (the weapons are acually located on the other side of the wall on either side of the warp).

That is the only explanation that makes sense (other than a bug/glitch
).
Remember, your HUD will not detect any enemies unless they are moving. Check in the maze-like floor below the room, underneath the glass floor.
The door on your right will take you to the next stage.

Thanks for the help guys. I did finally finish the game though!
Believe it or not everyone in the room was dead and the door still did not open. I spent a while checking all over the area. I had my character jump off the cliff outside to start over at that section but for some reason everytime I killed the 5-6 brutes in the room the door still would not open. I tried restarting from the save point on the cliff four or five times. That door would not open!!!
What I did next was restart the entire level from the beginning, instead of the save point, and this time when I fiinally got to that room I turned on my camo and snuck in the door while the brutes were coming out of it. It worked and I didn't have to fight them! The problem must have been some kind of error with my save point I guess.

The only other solution would be to stop playing your co-op sessions between levels.
Just remember where you left off and pick-up from there.
Cheesy, I know, but that's all you can do I suppose.

Hey! That trick on Battle Creek works like a charm. Too bad there aren't better weapons outside the base.

Here's another trick like the battle creek one... you can pass the flag through walls in the same way. you can even pass it through the gate on Zanzibar.

I was wondering about that mm. So it works then? That would be sweet. Pass it though the back wall and then just hop in the portal back to your own base. So essentially you could hit the base half assed. Get in there well enough to grab it and toss it to a corner. Who cares if you die, you still have 30 secs to get back and pull it through the wall.
Tossing it on the roof works too(not a glitch, but helpful hint). Have a buddy up there to grab it and then hop in the portal.
