How the heck do i work the voice thing? Doesn't seem to be working. What do the settings need to be at in the game?

You have to push the white button. There is proximity speech, but I don't know what the range is. Hit the white button, say what you need to, and it will automatically shut off when you are done.

This sometimes is annoying because if you have a brief pause in what you are saying, it will cut you off. (at least this is how I _think_ it works)

Yeah I thought about that too. I figured since I see everyone in the clan there's no need to manually add everyone in the friends list .

Correct me if I'm wrong though!

I also wanted to thank everyone for some killer games tonight. The clan was awesome because i could game with people who didn't bitch about someone else taking a vehicle they wanted and several times i had team members cooperate to do something. It was astounding and unlike anything i witnessed in SW: Battlefronts.

Also, i didn't know that was how the white button worked. Here i thought it toggled team chat and open chat or something.

Yeah I don't think they ever got that team voice thing to work in Crimson Skies.

I think the biggest lesson for me to have learned from playing tonight is that I should never be armed with a Rocket Launcher . It was quite fun to be playing with more than just 7 random people cursing every other word and hoping you get the luck of the draw with a good map/game type. I'll likely be on tomorrow night as well, if I don't get sucked into the single player too much.

Can anyone get the our clan forum at Bungie to work? It doesn't come up when I click the link.

I swear I'm still jittery from my last match. My friend thinks he is hot shit at the game and it feels so good teaming up with the DVDTalk clan to whip his ass.

I think I'll join your merry band.

Finding games to play on Live is a pain in the butt if none of your friends are online. Someone add me to their friends list.

List is updated.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to play with everyone tonight. Had friends over all afternoon and then decided to hit the single player.

I'll be on Wednesday afternoon/evening though.

Would it be ok if I join as well? Sounds like this merry band of spartans is gonna be fun. I haven't yet registered at Bungie (I'm at work) but I'll do so when I get home.

Steelgear, sure... Sign up at bungie when you can and link your gamertag to your bungie account. Then join the bungie group and you'll be approved.

Copenhagen or myself will send you a clan invite when one of us is on next.

Tony and funky, use the link in my post at the top of page 4 to join the bungie DVDTalk group. I'll send a clan invite later today, unless Copenhagen gets it done first.

Kuma, use the second link in my post at the top of page 4 to link your gamertag with your bungie account.

These people also need to link gamertags:

dave99ag
DaveNinja
Shuki
Springg

Thanks everyone.

I had a blast playing Halo last night. I got in a couple of games with some of you and then switched over to playing with my roommate and another friend.
I should be on again after work today and will look for some of you.

It certainly is more fun then playing with random strangers. I'm learning the new weapons and the dual wielding is fun.
I think the best new weapon, from a wielder point of view, is the energy sword. One or two slashes and the person is dead. Sucks for that person though. But it is the same with the rocket launcher one or two blasts and dead.

Vryce,
I've linked my gamertag (dave99ag) now. I don't know how long it takes on Bungie's end to get the update though.

It was fun playing with everyone last night. I guess I'll have to pick up one of the headsets before I get on again.

Shows up now in the member list.

You definetly have to get a headset so you can smack talk with everyone.

I'd like to get in. (Is this a Verizon commericial??)

GT: Homeboy Drew
Bungie.net : Homeboy D

I must preface this that I haven't play the first Halo and I haven't started playing Halo2 yet. I picked it up yesterday opened it but haven't had the time to sit down and play. I'll be the one in the clan to always get his butt handed to him. Every team must have a dead weight.

Odd... That lil orange dude, as far as I know, only shows up if your gamertag is linked.
The Bungie site, in the group members list, doesn't list it as linked. Try to link it again and see what happens.

I got your friend request yesterday and added you to my list.

You're in. I'll send a clan invite later today.

Halo 2 is a lot of fun. There are many different levels of players in it, so don't feel like you'll always get your butt kicked. There are people who are good as well as new players.

That goes out to everyone. Don't feel intimidated and not join because you haven't played and think you might suck. Join in, it is the best way to learn. And at least you'll have fun and get to play/chat with people you see posting here each day.

I had in fact linked and when I hit the link button to link it (from xbox site) it just shows your name as offline. I think the problem may have been that I hate msn 6.2 and only had on 4.7 or whatever ver it was. Anyhow, I just reluctantly installed 6.2 so maybe that will help....

edit - and me gt is shewki. I just checked our memebers list and mine said not available...
