WWE: Raw Vs. Smackdown (PS2)
So, the game ships tomorrow (it'll probably be in most stores 11/3/04.
Who's getting it? I liked the last one, we'll see how this one turns out. I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I find the games entertaining (the PS2 games anyway, the wrestling games for the XBox have been shit).

I think I'm skipping it this year or at least waiting for a price drop. Reading IGN's review he said many times here comes the pain did this or that better and had this and this new game cut it. I don't want a game that seemed to go backwards and not forward.
It also said he played 4 times and the storyline was the same each time. Here comes the pain was pretty bad when it come to the story line but if this one is worse I don't want to bother with it.
It also has %25 less superstars.

hmmm... I'll still pick it up. I'm a sucker for these types of games. On RAW last night they were saying it was out today.
edit: Just read the IGN review. Seems like he was very happy with it but seemed very disappointed by the online play which seemed to have drove down his score of the game. Sounds like the gameplay and playability are excellent.

I just read the reviews as well, doesn't sound like its a big upgrade from last years title. But oh well, I'm a sucker for these kind of games. I don't know if I'll be getting into the online scene that much.

Anyhow. I got to play the game on the demo kiosk at work and w0000t. I could do without the staredown/ chop mini game. Its minor but its still an awesome game. I may have to trade in some stuff to get it.

It's not bad. I like it. Only had a few hours to play it last night.
Matches seem to last longer, but I still always win. Bumped it up to "hard" and I still won almost every match, though it was a little more challenging. Hope "Legend" (or whatever) is more challenging.
The game looks amazing. I love the camera angles.
Royal Rumbles are fun. I can last more than 30 seconds in them.
HITC and Iron Man seem to play the same. I was able to win a 15 minute Iron Man match 7-0. Way too easy (just like HCTP).
Last Man Standing seemed to be way easier too, though I only played it once. I liked it better in HCTP because you really had to maul your opponent to win.
Still got to figure out the meters and all that. I have yet to win one of the "mini-games" (stare down, shoving, etc...) My timing must be off.

Picked it up last night. Graphics look great. Not quite sure why they made the Rock a legend. The roster is a little weak, hopefully they'll do a better job next year.
