They will have a yellow triangle in front of them be careful though I went into one house and there was about 4 Ballers in there sitting on the couch needless to say I though it would be best that I left.

Also the black truck is always in the fenced apartment area across the street from the gym.

How can I up my respect? I've completed quite a few missions that give me respect but it's still pretty low.

Also how do I start a gang? It said I could but I'm not sure how...

Thanks.

Look at (target) a guy wearing green and press up on the D pad. You can get up to 3 I believe.

From the other thread, respect is small in the begining missions, and grows exponentionally after a certain mission.

I beat Supply Lines last night after trying a good 20-30 times. I was about to give up for the night when I got lucky and finished it. That damn thing is too hard to control. I never need to play that mission again....ever.

I don't think I have much advice to give though. I went for the 3 nearest guys, then went for the other two. The kicker is after you beat them all you have to make it back to the roof or you fail. Lame.

Ok I need some info taking over gang territories.

Now I took over the territory in the park under the bridge (might have been a mission) completed it, its green its mine. Went to save it and the $ sign was in front of my house generating money. Good to go.

Now I didn't incite any more gang wars in any other areas and I continued to do regular missions, and finished the Sabre mission I think.

Now nothing, my $ is gone in front of my house, my "territory" is not green anymore, and I can't take over any more territories, WTF??

Am I going to be able to re-visit this part of the game again, or is it because I went foreword with the game, and started doing regular missions I am fucked gaining territory.

Next, what is the point of having a girlfriend? I know you need to do stuff with her to make her happy, so I did, and the only thing it has gotten me is a pimp suit she got for me. My question is, does she get me anything else important? is it crucial to the story to get the girlfriend bar to full?

Thanks

This is where I lost all hope. I tried at least 10 times and finally had a good control on the heli, hit the 3 close targets then travelled to the other 2 targets. I had a tiny bit of fuel left and was right on the final target, I was about to jump for joy when I blew it up. I was waiting for MISSION COMPLETE instead I get "fly back to the rooftop" MUTHERFUCKER. there goes the controller across the room.

I think I will try the strategy of going after the 2 targets that are way off the general area.

Supply Lines is impossible!! Between two people we must have tried 30 times yesterday. Trying different methods, I can kills all five but run out of gas on the way back! My only tips so far is try to stay airborn as much as possible and us as little fuel as possible. Other than that, get the three closest then the other two and pray you have enough gas to get back.

I tricked out a Taxi, looks like the Luc Besson version. Great for getting good tips when you get a straightaway and slam in some NOS.

Yeah, I took out the first three pretty fast.( got pretty good doing that after try number 30) I hit the nearest truck as you take off, swung around to the left and got the guy on the bike, then took out the other van nearby. I took each one on one flyby. I then headed to the 2 further out. I got lucky on the next one. which was a motorcycle. It was headed toward me and I strafed him with a lucky shot. I was about to turn around to chase him when he blew up. I dive bombed the last one while firing and made it back to the roof with just a sliver of fuel left.

I kept the throttle on full while getting to each target and slowing down a little when I got close to line up my shots. In the end I got lucky, I think.

I was wondering the same thing about the gang territories. I did the same thing as you, and now the $ sign is gone and the territory not green anymore. In fact, when I killed someone by my house, I think I heard CJ say "Grove Street sucks!" as he killed them

What do you "get" when you... ?

Do 100 taxi missions?
do 100 police missions?
do 100 firetruck missions?
do 100 pimp missions?
spray over all of the tags?

Was it a pointless waste of my time to take over 100% of the areas? Now they all belong to the Ballers and I have nothing. I'm kinda pissed about it and debating on whether I should keep going on mini missions before starting that last los santo mission or if I should just say screw it and move on.

By the way - the drive from the backwoods back to the hood takes like 10 to 15 minutes going full throttle on a motorcycle without crashing. Huge game.

You're getting close. You'll get that mission from one of the guys you meet in San Fiero

I didn't do a 100 pimp missions, but when the pimp meter got filled up hookers started paying me to have sex with them. I don't know if there is something else if you do 100 missions.

No one can answer the question about how to gain back lost territory? My negligence has cost me a large amount of land and I don't know how to get it back...

How do you play that spaceship arcade game, with the white and black bubbles? I shoot some I get points, I shoot more and I loose points?

There is no need to take back the territory. The only reason to take territory is to collect money. It has no effect on the story. And it's not really that much money considering how much you can make at Off Track Betting or even just doing missions post Los Santos.

Walkthrough for "Supply Lines" from gamefaqs:

Spoiler:
This is the first mission that I've seen a ton of people have problems with. It took me about five tries. It just takes patience. The key for this is to plan your route. There are five couriers:

Target 1: A van right at the start. Shoot his van and he gets out, then rail him again to kill him. This should take no more than five seconds.

Target 2: A bicycle just to the left. Turn around and get behind him. Fire until he gets off, then shoot him again. This shouldn't take very long either.

Target 3: Another van down the street. This guy won't get out of the van when you shoot him, so get behind him at a steady speed and unload until he catches fire. You should have these first three down in about thirty seconds, and no more. You need all the fuel you can get now.

Target 4: A Sanchez towards Downtown. This is your first difficult target, and it takes some practice. Get behind him at a steady speed and follow him as soon as you start shooting. You need to blow him up before he gets his speed up, or else you'll never see him again. It's all about timing and practice, and once he's gone, you should be free for this mission.

Target 5: A third van northeast of the Sanchez. You should have about 50% fuel after target four, and if you do, you've got this made. Get behind this van as well, follow him for a bit, and then unload until the van catches fire. As soon as it does, start high tailing it back to Zero's.

When you can see his pink blip on the roof, start decellerating and land somwhere near the spot. It doesn't have to be exact. I had about thirty seconds of fuel left when I finally got this mission down.

Save. Bet a wad of cash on the long shot. If it doesn't win, reload. Took me about 3 trys.

Some people have used that trick to make billions. I just used it to make about 100K before heading to San Fiero. That makes the game a bit easier to play, but still quite challenging.

The betting place doesn't even show up on my map, even though I have found it several times. I can't seem to find it again, is there a landmark to look for it?

I'm not quite sure where the Los Santos one is. I used the one in the small town south of San Fiero. The Save point is within walking distance.

You lose your gang and the hood after you complete the Green Saber mission. You should do every side thing you want BEFORE you do that mission because if you go back after your hood and most os Los Santos is over run with Ballers so unless you have alot of ammo and a BP vest it's hard to get out and walk around.
