Mad Catz Wireless Controller Problem

I have a Lynx wireless controller. My problem is that the batteries run down very quickly. I have found that if I take one of the batteries out after I use it every time they won't run down. If I leave them in, the batteries are run down next time I get ready to use the controller. Has anyone else had this problem? I also have a Pelican Eclipse wireless controller that has an on/off switch on it. I wish the Lynx had one on it.

Any chance that when you store it, a button or joystick is being depressed?

I think I was storing it with the buttons facing up. Since I had two sets of batteries run down I've been pulling one out every time.

The problem is in that it's a Mad Katz product. Pure garbage.

I don't understand why they didn't put an ON/OFF Switch on it.
