Anyone Have The New PSM?
If anyone has the new PSM (with Ratchet and Jak on the cover), could you please post the gist of their reviews of Jak 3 and R&C 3? I know Jak got a 9 and R&C a 10. Certainly I'm going to get both, but I'd love to hear some details about both games.

Straight from the magazine.
"Jak3: 9.0
+Cool story, hot new gun mods, lots of variety, fun story and plot twists
-Not enough core platforming, story drags at times, a little too much buggy."
"Ratchet: 10!
+Amazing online multiplayer, great variety, best set of weapons yet.
-I suppose the music could be better but, c'mon - How picky can you really be."
That's the conclusions they had. The article took on a pretty sucky Q&A review format, so there weren't many details i hadn't read elsewhere. If i recall (it might have come from EGM) they said R&C improved upon its last outing in every way it could.

Ratchet and Clank is one of the reasons I'm glad I finally got a PS2. I just picked up Going Commando and look forward to playing it. Although I'm a little disappointed with the juvenile title for part 3, I'm sure I'll be picking it up eventually.

Thanks for the synopsis, Clark. I'm really looking forward to R&C 3 (as I call it). The other two were my favorite games from the past 2 years and I expect that this one will be even better. Maybe we can get a DVD Talk clan together for this one.
Anyway, I'm expecting Jak 3 to be a lot better than Jak 2 because that game was close to being very good but made some dumb choices with repeditive tasks and frustrating difficulty on some missions. Those are (relatively) easy things to fix.

In the new PSM did anyone look at the review for Shadow Hearts? There's a pic of an in-game female character who looks like she's, um, sporting a Brazilian if you know what I mean.

Hmm... I'm not even sure what that term means, but I guess I'll have to go check it out...
They gave a pretty high score for that Shadow Hearts game (a 9 , I think). I know their reviews tend to be on the high side, but anyone know if this game is any good? Not like I need yet another RPG to sit in my pile or anything...
