EA Sports - Buy 2, Get 1 Free

Just saw this deal over at EBGames.com. All the big titles are on there. Unfortunately, the date of purchase has to be between 9/ 27 and 11/14, so my Madden and Tiger Woods purchases don't do me any good.

Now if only ToysRUs does the usual buy 2 get 1 in the fall. 2 EA Sports games & 2 free games.

Do you have to buy both games at once or can you buy each individual game at any time within the time frame?

I'm thinking about getting Tiger Woods 2005 now and nothing else really interests me but if Madden or NCAA goes on sale before November 14th I'd pick it up to get a free game.

Also what are the odds of any of the eligible games dipping in price before the cutoff date?

You can buy them separately within the time frame.

I would guess the odds are slim. I think the motivation behind the buy 2 get 1 free deal is to move as many of the titles as possible at their regular price.

Yeah, only thing is you have to cut your proof of purchase out....thus, you cannot trade the game in anywhere when you are done with it.

Although, not bad for a FREE game.

the proof of purchase is on the back page of the instruction manual. the UPC on the back of the actual game case doesnt have to be cut out so a trade in should be fine. i dont ever remember them checking inside the instructions for it when trading in a game.

Could someone post a link to this offer? Sorry to be a pain, but I've been searching on the ebgames.com site and couldn't find anything definite about the deal.

Thanks,

-B
