I am pulling them off now and then but haven't really gotten a good handle on them

ok the little sign comes up, you wiggle the right joystick, the big roar animated sequence comes up, then how do you actually execute the move ? is it with the right joystick or other buttons ? and how exactly do you use the right joystick ?

Just like the old n64 wrestling games. Grapple and tap the right joystick in any direction.

i never had a N64 mate

You can assign a different blazin move to each direction of the R stick. All you do to do a blazin move is move the R stick when the meter is full then grapple with X then hit the R stick to whatever direction you want. The Blazin move will be whatever you have assigned for that particular direction.
